Introducing the New Club Pogo Homepage!

We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.

 

While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:

 

Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!

Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.

Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.

Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information

Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!

  • My account is due for renewal in seven days; I don’t plan to renew. It’s not the fact that I abhor the new homepage (and I do), what stuns me is the fact that Pogo refuses to even acknowledge the overwhelmingly negative feedback. Since I/we are the consumer(s) doesn’t our input count? Guess Pogo must be staffed by members of the US Government. THAT explains it!

    • I have already made my thoughts on the new home page known, so won’t go there again.
      My question if how do we get rid of the games posted as favorites when they are not. the instructions say click on the heart, that does nothing. When I go to the favorites icon and click to delete; it doesn’t delete, just moves the game icon to a different place.

      this web site is frustrating, cumbersom, way too busy, and leaves us without choice.

    • I hate the new home page too. Also I have trouble with world class solitate freezing up all the time, nothing else does. The last 15 times I have started a new passbook it started in Singapore. I can’t get any help cause their help page is a nightmare. I also am due to renew but don’t think I will.

    • I completely agree with the sentiment from Donna. Why hasn’t Pogo made a statement to all of it’s concerned members? I check everyday for some kind of response and all I see is mounting complaints that continue to go unanswered. I just want SOME acknowledgement that we are being heard by the “powers that be”.

      Where is the customer service?

      I can get used to the homepage, I just want to know that we are NOT being ignored and that we actually matter. That shouldn’t be too much to ask – should it??

    • I am in the same thinking I removed my payment information so it can’t auto renew. So if I dont have my old homepage back. My membership is over and i will go to anther gaming page. Pogo broke what did not need to be fixed.

  • PLEASE HAVE A HEART CHANGE POGO HOME PAGE BACK. YOU WOULD MAKE A LOT OF PLAYERS VERY VERY HAPPY. NOT EVERY ONE WANTS ALL THE ADDS.

  • I do NOT like the new homepage, nor do I like the fact that I’m not getting credit for my badge that I worked hard to get. Also, for 3 hours last week, game would not load and I didn’t get to finish my very hard badge because of it.

  • tried to cancel subscription and found out you will forfeit the rest of the subscription money. pogo made sure they can screw us over

    • Go to your bank and place a block on their withdrawal. Tell your bank you want to cancel their rights to debit your account.

  • I don’t like the new homepage either & I too had problems getting the badges last week due to loading issues. These games are as bad as the Zynga games on Facebook, plus like in those, you get no answer when there’s a problem. At least in Facebook I don’t pay for those games but in here it’s different. Pogo, best listen to what people want or you’ll have a lot who will just play the free games & stop renewing, that’s a lot of money to lose.

  • I have been browsing thru the list of comments from all the members that have written in so far, and have not seen one vote in favor of the home page, and you won’t get one from me either! I think it’s absolutely awful, with poor navigation ,and blasts when you look at it appearance-wise it looks like a page full of ads. I have not seen any response written by any members in favor of this new home page.
    What was wrong with the one we had? It worked well, had great navigation features and was pleasing to look at.

    I check every day to see that there are just more of the same votes of dissatisfaction !

    Was this vote set up just as a tease, or will the POGO staff bring back our other home page, or at least give us a choice in which one we would prefer using?

  • Do not like to new homepage or most of the new changes. I can not use mozella anymore plus alot of the games do not load anymore. Will not renew this time.

  • Well, I agree with all the messages on this page! I DO NOT like the new homepage. I want the old homepage back. I want to see my MINI and Kats Stuff – not the news, or download games stuff. Can’t get responses from Pogo about problems with games either – trying to get help through EA doesn’t work either. This is unacceptable for $39.95 plus tax!

  • I’m sure Pogo staff had good intentions with reformatting the homepage, however I, too do not enjoy the new format. I would like my mini to be up top, rather than having to scroll down to see it. I spend a lot of time on my mini, and want to see my mini first thing. I also would like the badge info to be on the left and on top, without having to scroll right and scroll down to see the badge info. There’s so much scrolling required with the new homepage, just to get to the stuff I want. Scrollarama. The two things I want to see first are the badge info and my mini. I don’t need to be told what my last game played was; I was there, I remember. I am a girly girl and my only tattoo is of a heart, but I must say I don’t enjoy the hearts all over the top of the homepage. Perhaps you could offer a “Classic Homepage” option for those of us who don’t like the new one.

  • Why has Pogo/EA not responded to the membership regarding the new Home page? I have responded to my dislike of the page, the problems with it and provided suggestions like many others have. Here we are a week later, past the normal Tuesday updates and no response from Pogo/EA. This truly demonstrates the lack of consideration you all have for customers.

    I am not one to complain about change – I usually embrace improvements. But this whole situation is just a big FUBAR. And the lack of response from you all to your customers is reprehensible!

    Clearly your design process and QA processes have major flaws and are causing you to lose customers in droves. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t encounter some kind of bug or poor design. I have spent hours reporting them, providing screen prints and detailed hows and it all goes on deaf ears.

    Whoever is in charge of development and testing needs to be replaced. I have worked in or with software companies for 25 years including the use of contract overseas development so I think I know what I am talking about.

    Still – like many others – awaiting a response from you.

    • I agree;there SHOULD be improvements made,and they should continue as needed.Making their games function correctly being their top priority. There is a fine line between change and improvement.Sadly,Pogo does not understand this;the line is blurred.You CAN improve something without making drastic changes in the process.It seems they are becoming too focused on cosmetic changes,and ignoring the much needed technical improvements.

  • I have a time zone issue now. Ever since you installed the new home page I don’t get the new challenges at midnight in Arizona. They don’t update until 1:00am my time. Any chance someone will fix this?

  • please respond to your customers complaints not only about homepage but pogo in general or is it true pogo is up forsale any response will do just to squash rumors

  • The new home page is the pits like everyone is telling you……..don’t you bother to even read the feedback? Fix some of the flaws in your games before deciding that the home page needs a new and awful look. I’ve played for the spades badge until I am blue in the face..no fix ever coming there but you can find the time to incorporate a stupidly designed and way to bright homepage.

  • I had not been on the page for a while but definitely will not bother coming back! The page is awful, too busy can’t get used to it and it takes too long to find what I need – They should have beta tested their consumers first before just releasing it! And worst part is no one seems to be listening or posting a general reply to their loyal players! Good bye POGO!

  • Pogo,you are hurting yourselfs by not listening to your players. I hate this new page. us old farts dont like changes. I have renewed for a year but wish I hadnt. if we have problems there is no way to get help and or its on our end. you make to many changes. you had a good thing going, but your losing every day.the customers are right you shoud know that by now.   • I too, do NOT like the new home page. I find it frustrating and having problems with the favorites. Those are not my favorites and I can’t change them. I prefer the old home page layout and would be very happy to see it come back instead of this new one. I don’t like it at all and actually stop playing sooner than normal.

  • you could at least put our minis where we can see them since we work so hard at trying to keep them updated. With the new homepage i havent even worried about wanting to update my mini…can’t see it when i log in anyway. If it isn’t broke…DON’T FIX IT!!

  • I agree with the other comments below. I am NOT a fan of this new homepage either. I don’t even seem to have any weekly challenges this week – and that was my fav part of POGO. What a disappointment!

  • Have had nothing but problems since you messed up the homepage…..thinking of not paying to play pogo anymore as nothing works right now. Yesterday pogo was down for over 2 hrs and now today no weekly challenges…..please quit changing things as they never work right. adios

Move my Mini back up to the top right hand corner and I’ll be very happy…I really feel in the future if Pogo/EA receives this many comments/complaints some sort of formal recognition of actyally having read them would be nice…the more customers are ignored the unhappier we become……

  • THANK GOODNESS!I thought I may have been in the minority about this,but it seems I am far from it.Hate is a strong word,but it certainly fits here.The new home page is dreadful! I’ve never been this disgusted with a change before.If you have never listened to your player before,PLEASE listen to us now.Get rid of this mess and give us back what we want.I believe it’s only fair,considering we pay you for our membership.What ever happened to “the customer is always right”? I can only assume from what I have encountered since joining Pogo, that a huge number of your members are in an age group over 30.It appears the latest reworkings of your site has been geared to a much younger crowd.That being said,I/we have made our feelings quite clear.I see many have chosen not to remain Pogo members when their renewal comes up.I for one am still undecided.I love playing the games on Pogo,enjoy the challenges,badges,my mini,etc. I hope to remain a member,but when too much change makes something unpleasant, you move on.I really hope this won’t become the case here.

  • Pogo does not care about what their people want. They will continue to do what they want. They do not pay for the membership and they do not play the games but it is now and always will be all about what they want. I will not buy anymore memberships. I will not do business with anyone who does not value my opinion. This new home page is awful and pogo should be ashamed of themselves mainly for not listening to the people that pay for their site and also for the many not membership players who use their site. What an uncaring group of people who design this and the ones who let them do it. There are too many other sites to go to. The new home page is nothing but a cluttered mess. You need to start listening to the people who use your site. Maybe your site will lose all of it members and you will have to shut down. Now that is a great thought. Because you don’t care about me and therefore I do not care about you.

  • Well my subscription is up in Feb and I may not be renewing. The changes are just to awful. I spend a lot of time just trying to get the games to open up and start. Then the chat rooms list is always gone. Refreshing does nothing. Then, as I mentioned having to activate the daily challenge twice before starting the game, if it will load, is just ridiculous. THe more I consider how slow and cumbersome the site has become the more I’m determined not to renew. If Pogo doesn’t care then they don’t deserve my business.

    • I agree looks awful and if you don’t change it back and give us our old homepage, I don’t think I will renew my subscription eather.

  • Okay, I have read all the complaints and even sent in one myself, and I just finished reading letters to Ed, and his responses….. I understand that we have to endure changes…. so even though I hate the white background, so harsh on the eyes, and the advertising, I know I will learn to live with it…. But, the one
    thing I cannot live without is the fact that I can’t see my mini when I log on,,,, I think I speak for many
    of the members when I say that at least when you log on and can see your mini, it seems much more personal and comforting, if you could at least put the mini back on the upper right and people see that as they log on it will compensate for the other changes that we will become accostomed to. The mini is very important
    to me as it is a character that I created and represents myself. And, I think it will make most of the members happy and accept the rest of the changes…. Don’t forget it is most of our money that keeps your site going…. So please us a little. :))

  • I am also adding my complaint about the new home page. It sucks, slows down the load time and not to mention since the new page I have had problems loading games. It does tend to be frustrating as all heck. Please, I have been patient as all heck with all the new changes that have taken place. I have not complained about them, even if I didn’t like them or agree with them. However, this new page takes the cake. Get rid of it and bring back the simple and easy page that most of us have come to love.
