Introducing the New Club Pogo Homepage!

We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.

 

While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:

 

Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!

Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.

Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.

Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information

Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!

    • this home page i do not like wish we had a choice of which one we wanted

      • That would be nice to pick our homepage. My screen is small and the new pages is too big to display on it. I constantly have to page up and down to get choices I want. The other page was more compact and worked better for me.

    • I am with you on not renewing. I have been a paying member of POGO for many years and enjoyed most of the original versions. The changes have been annoying and this is the final degradation for me. I am really disappointed.

  • SOME OF MY GAMES ARE STILL NOT WORKING. I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME AND MY SCREEN GOES BLANK WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXES

  • I dislike the change to pogo homepage….really really dislike it…..take it back like it was. The new page is ugly and hard to find what i want. Why would you do something like that?

  • My frustration with Pogo is growing by the day. Games that don’t work. Cheats that are using programs to play the games for them. I have complained to Pogo but they seem to think nothing is odd about a player who is on the Pogo site playing 24 hours a day! I see no reason why I or anyone else should have to leave a room we like to play in because there is a player using a program like this. And now this childish immature home page. There is nothing I like about it. I feel like I am at a children’s birthday party when I look at it.

    • i agree pogo has lost its touch if they just asked the folks what they want to change then and only then would pogo be worth renewing games dont load or freeze not enough protection against idiots on the site never any response to emails etc all pogo seems to do is take the money and run or the site is run by underage kids

  • Dear Pogo,

    The new page is fine. Things I would like moved are the top bar and the *advertising* section directly below that. As a paying member I would like the option of switching the top bar to my favorites rather than arbitrary games that show up as a result of a daily challenge or some weird idea that pogo has about my preference to play these games. All of them, as of today, are still a swing and a miss as I play none of them regularly.

    As for the uproar, this is my take on it. In big business you have lots of consumers or customers. Back in the day people knew that the customer had a right to their opinion and in some smaller businesses the ideal of the customer always being right made for good practice. I think Pogo has been making bad moves along the way because people aren’t feeling heard and aren’t feeling like anyone cares what paying customers think. (Two of my family have either already left Pogo or aren’t renewing.) That’s going to be a mistake in any business.

    It’s not the home page, it’s not games freezing, it’s not even about the quality or lack of quality in customer service. It’s really about people mattering to people. If people feel like they don’t matter and their opinions (right or wrong) don’t matter they will find somewhere else to spend their money. If and when Pogo figures this out they will be a stronger group and company for it.

    • Amen it’s about treating people like people not your new money pot–The changes have been getting worse and worse I will not renew.

  • Don’t like it at all. Can’t find newly added games- have to search for the ones that were not marked with the heart- all in all NOT USER FRIENDLY. and I am paying for stress relief to get more stress—come on!

    We pay for no ads, so why are we bombarded with worldwinner ads? I really resent it . I want what I pay for.
    Just add this to the list of complaints above. 4 of my freinds have quit already.

  • I’ve been a loyal Pogo member for about 10 years now (before mini’s were introduced anyways) and after all this time, I am EXTREMELY disappointed that Pogo would go and change the Club Pogo page this way. I can’t even see my information first, the whole window is crap I don’t use/need and I have to scroll to find anything. Why change the side of the screen for the badges? Thanks for the new inconvenience!! Is Pogo going insane? First the game window changes (and that was bad enough), now this?????!!!! Starting to think I won’t renew next time.   • I think the new homepage was one of Pogo’s kids kindergarten assignment. What a mess of confusion!!!! I get that at work all day . I come home to Pogo for peace and sanity to regain my equilibrium. The front page just adds to my frustration. I would love to be a fly on the wall of your creative sessions. Put the Red Bull down .Put the Starbucks down. Chill out Pogo. and let just all relax and chill out! We are not all a bunch of college kids. Since everyone always sees the need to let you know how long they have played I’ve been a member since 2000. And no I am not going to threaten you with withdrawing my business. I can’t imagine you quake in your boots for the potential loss of $39.00. If that small amount of money is going to be the difference between Pogo surviving or not you would have included your customers in your decisions a long time ago.

  • I cannot believe that I have not seen any feedback from Pogo developers. Do you not understand, we don’t like the new home page. Lose the whole box “latest news”. Streamline the favorites, don’t make them take so much space. Lose the hearts, the average age of pogo’ers is muche older than that. Lose the whole string of recently played. Too much space is used to say nothing. Come ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The new homepage is too ‘busy’. Because of all the graphics, I get the message from my computer stating ‘memory low’.

    I still hate and will always HATE, the embedded games. Same thing – takes too much memory to load. (And I have a resonably new computer.)

    My only other suggestion besides redoing all the above is GIVE OUT MORE GEMS as prizes.
    Tokens are OK, but I would like to buy more games, etc. but hate putting the $ on my charge. In the long run, if Pogo would loosen up the winnings, you would have happy players all around. It could be any winning except the WALL paper – get rid of that.

  • I’ve used the new home page for a few days now, and I don’t really like it. I don’t need such a huge ‘recently played games’ bar at the top. I have a small computer screen and this is the majority of what I see on my page. It is irrelevant to me because the most recent games that I have played are the ones for the daily challenges, and I often don’t like those games very much. I only tolerate them long enough to earn the daily tokens, so I don’t need the bar to be so large. (I don’t need it at all!!)

    I also don’t see much purpose behind switching the mini information and current challenges from left to right. I wasn’t sure why I didn’t like like at first until I read another comment that pointed out that the vast majority of people read from left to right. That’s exactly it — I want to see the things I am currently working on either at the top or on the left where I will see it first.

    Last, the favorites in the middle is not a bad thing, but I don’t need it to be so large. It makes it look very juvenile and cartoonish to me.

  • I do not like the new page either. Please bring back the the old club pogo page. It was user friendly. I do not like changes at game sites.. I have went to Yahoo unti Pogo can work out this mess.

  • I normally don’t get too bothered by stuff, but the new homepage, in a word *SUCKS*. I’m not 5 years old. Who are they marketing towards? Waaaay too cartoonish for my liking. I can’t even stand to look at the thing! I used to love the homepage. Ironically, the previous color was one of my favorites; I always felt like it was so ‘personalized’ lol.

    Everything’s been jumbled around for the sake of doing it. Not ONE change on the page is actually going towards a worthwhile purpose. I agree with everything everyone has said regarding said changes. If only the powers that be would actually see all the negative feedback here and change everything back, but I fear that is NEVER going to happen. *but we can all wish*

    Pogo used to be great. In the last year all the changes have been pushing me away little by little and I feel like this is the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. At least I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.

  • Please give us back our old homepage. There is nothing good about the new one. It is depressing when you can’t find what you want. I like change but this is the most upsetting thing I have ever seen.

  • Please Pogo…go back to our beloved club page and spend your time fixing the ongoing problems that have been unresolved…maybe a better use of your creative time would be in making new badges for us to choose since we have so few left..make new badges, not dumb kiddie games and doing away with any reasonable route for help..help, now there’s a joke, it does not exist anymore Bottom line people, Pogo doesn’t care, for all of us who leave there are hundreds of newbies that don’t know coming in..so why would they care about us? such a shame, Pogo if you focused on the true meaning of “Club” you might get us to actually buy more of your crap.   • I do not like the new homepage. If its not broke, don’t fix it. Its cartoonish, its strung out….have to hunt and peck to navigate. Just not good.

    Also, purchased three new badge challenges with gems and you took the gems, but the badge challenges never showed up. Gee, thanks for nothing. And trying to complain through your “help” is a joke. The prompt to register does not show up. Duh! Just keep it and good luck with gems being of any interest to me.

I unsubscribed to pogo for a few months or more, I just renewed right before they added the new homepage, I already noticed they did some other changes. where some games are smaller and hard to see. Then we got this new homepage. I would like option of keeping the new page or the old one.
    With some of the gaming windows being smaller and the new homepage I don’t think I will renew.

  • The new home page is HORRIBLE!!!! I DON’T LIKE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR GAMES FLASHING IN MY FACE WHEN I SIGN IN. MY MINI ONLY SHOWS UP ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE HOME PAGE NOW AND NOT IN THE GAMES. I may not renew my subscription. The old home page was nicely organized and different from all the other game sites. Now it looks like all the rest. I hate it more evertime I sign in.

  • I know people don’t like change but the new homepage is terrible. I guess in time one can adjust but I think “what isn’t broken, why fix it”. Alao would like to see crossword cove inprove, where you can play more then once a day and get points. I love crossword puzzles.

    to check if I have any NEW Guest Book messages AND to get to my PROFILE PAGE!! :(
    I really MISS seeing those things as soon as I log on! Please reconsider making those features more prominate again–its what sets us apart from the Free Members! WE LOVE OUR MINI’S!! TY :)

  • why take up all this space with this pogo junk we pay to play your games no 1 cares nto see all the junk on the opening page of this game site put something plain and simple on your opening page maybe this would improve pogos games from freezing and maybe we would get a part of what we pay for
