  • Nice profile :) GL on another 13yrs of POGO

  • my mom is a capricorn, she is in heaven, she always told me that you can’t take back and say i am sorry after the person is gone. So quit doing the things that you keep having to apologize for.

Also if you see a cardinal , you have a friend for life

  • i can’t download java, therefore i can’t play certain games…tried everything possible but keeps coming up Error 1603…even my internet provider did everything possible but to no avail…microsoft will get rid of it for $129.00…Norton’s $149…i pay enough for my account to my provider, plus pogo account, so i cannot pay what they want…i don’t know where else to turn, so very frustrating…PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU.

    • you have to go the java site. dl the free avg virus protector, why do you have to pay 129.00 for windows to get rid of Norton, just go to your control panel and dump in there.

    • You can’t download Java? Does that mean that the download button on java.com doesn’t work or do you mean that Java won’t run on your computer? Either way, Norton is nothing but a resource hog (which is what you are experiencing) and should be avoided at all costs. Sadly, your computer is hosed and the only option may to reinstall everything. I wouldn’t pay Microshaft or Norton a dime. Sure, a total system restore may be time consuming but you save yourself money.

      • So what do you do with a comp that has norton pre-installed as a free trial version. It is time consuming to find out what virus protection you what when you first buy a computer for the first time.

        • You can go to add/remove programs and uninstall there.. my comp also came w/ norton n I scrapped it for free AVG

          • I was just responding to the person’s comment about the computer being hosed… acording to them and system restore is time consuming. and the advice about to reinstall everything. but as a first time comp buyer they go with what is on the system and learn to use it.

        • As previously stated, you uninstall it and install a better Anti-Virus.

        • Please get AVG it’s free! I’ve been using it for years and it’s amazing like Tash says!

        • You remove Norton. From the left corner button click on start, then all programs, then control panel, find add/remove programs, find Norton, click to uninstall. Reboot, then either use AVG or Avast for a free virus protection. If using Window 8, you have to be on the desktop side to download Java. FYI, I have been using Avast free for three years – it’s great. Good luck. These step by step instructions should help fix your problems.

    • Why ask and then proceed to answer tech issues in the spotlight section?????

Great profile and picture! Congrats on the spotlight!

      • I am sure CJ does not mind sharing his spot with someone in need on Pogo. Have a little tolerance for someone who might be overwhelmed with computer troubles. Help should be offered where ever is is ask for. Thank you to the many kind folks on Pogo who do offer help.

        • Typical female answering with the assumption she knows what a man is thinking. This is the player spotlight column, NOT tech advice.

          • Didn’t like the answer you received? Too bad for you! Embrace it because this kind of stuff isn’t going away.

          • eek eek :)

          • You are right Jaws. People will continue to be rude and selfish just to take away from the player spotlight. What a shame. You too Mouse.

  • CJ yours is one of the best profiles I have ever read. Thank you for your philosophies and your work with the food bank. My husband works for the furniture bank. Same concept.

  • I like you, I like your philosophy of life. Jesus is my hero as well!!! If only we all would live life as He did, as He taught, love as He loved. Well then, we wouldn’t have any corrupt politicians now would we? Seems the answer to this world’s problems is so simple, yet the doing is where it get tough. Many blessings CJ

  • Great answers for the questions, as for removal of corrupt politician, well ya got your work cut out for you there, lol. Love this, There are five things in life you cannot recover: A stone…..after it’s thrown. A word…..after it is said. An occasion after….. it’s missed. The time….after it’s gone. • This is has to be about the best player spotlight that I have read. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of good ones, but this one really got my attention. Especially the 5 things in life that you can’t recover. I am going to pass that along to family and friends. My husband and I also love riding our Harley. We have tee shirts that say Live to Ride, Ride to Live. We don’t get to go on as many rides as we used to, but we are not ready to give it up…not for a while anyways. You are really an unique person and I wish you all the best.

    • I’ve been a year round rider many years, on many different kinds of bikes…the brand doesn’t matter to me.

  • WOW U Rock
U got my attention when U said JESUS Brother.. Praise GOD for young men such as your self… I to don’t fit in but its not that.. its because we stand for JESUS an not many do any more.. keep on being who U are.. cause soon enough we will fit right in Heaven my friend..
Well done Pogo on this special “SLP” this week.
    GOD Bless
    Keep on riding..
    Peace Sandi

  • Such an interesting profile. Your favorite dog is a silkie terrier….Does he ride on the bike with you? Bet she would love it. Keep on.

    • Sadly Kami is scared to death of bikes…maybe a sidecar one of these days.

  • you fit in more than you think. I loved all you said. Keep up your good works and thoughts. May God always bless you.

  • good spotlight CJ and thank you for sharing with us.

  • Hi CJ. Great profile, love all of you wisdoms and philosophies – especially the list of things you cannot get back. We should all be kind and say “I love you” often because once someone is gone, you will regret not telling them or treating them well. I am also a Cappie and love the summer. God bless.

  • Hey CJ! How cool to see one of my Pogo Peeps in the Spotlight. You were an excellent choice. Hugs, Lacy <3

  • Hey there CJ. Nice to meet you. Love your profile. Love bikers. They’ve always treated me like family. Maybe that’s because some ARE my family. LOL It seems that you most definitely fit in here my friend. Do you have an Indian name? Since you collect indian stuff, I thought you might. My Chumash Indian name is “Whispering Wind”. I speak softly, but carry a big stick. LOL Thank you for sharing. Big Bear Hugs to you.

  • Love your attitude…. welcome… love the motorcycle…LOVE that you love Jesus. I heard a saying once “The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.” In other words out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. So very, very nice to meet you.
