We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.
While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:
Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!
Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.
Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.
Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information
Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!
Please give us back our old homepage, this new one triggers a migraine each time I play due to the bright white background. Why would you want to change something that was working so well? Listen to your customer POGO we love to play on your sight, but we don’t like the new homepage!
I tried deleting some games posted that I rarely if ever play. did not work.
AS I said before this is way too muddled, return please to the other page we had before.
Frankly I’m lost interest in Pogo now. Sorry I just renewed. New home page looks like threw everything in a blender, turned it on without the lid and it threw up every where. Cannot count the ways I hate it.
I agree. I do not like the NEW FRONT PAGE. I like seeing my mini also. My mom will not re join pogo. That frount page is not Senoir friendly either. Pogo I’m so sorry but new not always better. Pogo you just changed it. Please Please pogo change it back. By the Pogo my mom is 85.
I agree with the vast majority of members. This new page is not user friendly, and it has been changed for no apparent reason other then the chance to publicize a big change. When my membership expires (unfortunately not until may) i will not renew. Pogo has already in the past taken away any reasonable prize of cash and substituted a cap, etc. The small amounts now offered as prizes are laughable. Have been playing for the pure enjoyment, and with the new homepage it’s no longer worth even that.
I also do not like the page. But probably no one at Pogo reads all these comments, and if they do, the attitude is probably “oh well”. I wish Pogo would devote time to developing NEW, ORIGINAL, POGO-ONLY games like we use to get 2-3 times a year. Instead we get games we have to pay extra for (which I will NEVER do) or games they just bring over from the sitew they have purchased. When was the last new, original game? Balloon Bounce maybe? Pike’s Peak? It’s been so long I don’t know. That’s what made Pogo so special, but I guess those days are gone.
I Hate it!… Member since 2005 and just pulled my credit card number, I’m not going to renew my membership sorry. Who are you trying to appeal to? Listen to your members!
I’m not a fan! I hope Pogo shows they value the customers that support them by changing things back!
I don’t like the new homepage. Want the old one back. Pogo is losing their members rapidly by changing things that don’t need to be changed. Every one I have talked to doesn’t like it.
I agree. We read left to right so the “daily”-ies should be on the left. I would like to choose to read the information that you have put on the left and center – not have to navigate around it. Please change back. In this case “newer is NOT better” – thanks
I get a migraine as well,and it effects my epilepsy, so I have clicked on games in alphabetically, and that list takes off most of the bright yellow tabs. but it is still too much on the page and and too bright

I also dislike this homepage. It doesn’t make sense that you’d spend time up-dating and not give anything new.
Pretty much all the old stuff is there, just re-ordered. Except that it’s brighter (way too much white field), the icons/words are bigger (which means much more scrolling to get what you want) and areas jumbled for no good reason.
Why put the challenges on the right when everyone is used to the left? It doesn’t make it easier, it’s not prettier and it serves no function except to call it a change.
If you wanted to make it easier, prettier and something that each member would love, why not give us control to make our own Home Page, like on blogs? Otherwise, put the time & energy into things other than aesthetics.
Based upon all of the recent comments, I believe I may be the only club member who likes the new home page. Although POGO missed the mark on a few issues: 1) They introduced it during peak hours without any warning (this caused me some confusion), 2) They did not provide sufficient notification (should have been taken to an information / instruction screen before seeing the new page), 3) People read left to right so what’s important to the member should be placed on the left (shift mini’s to right and POGO Challenges to the right) 4) Reading through the complaints, placing the POGO Challenge check marks in the section “Label” fields has caused significant grief (place the completion check marks back beside each challenge), 5) The stark white data background is harsh as many members have noted (darken the “soft blue” page background by 2 shades then soften the white data background by 2 shades on the grey scale. They say sometimes change is good. Not this change. WAY too cluttered. We read from left to right & the items we look at most are on the right. WRONG. And to add to the cluttered effect you added monkeys & balloons. GO BACK!! Please
I HATE the new home page!!!:( It’s hard to find anything. Why do you guys keep messing with things that don’t need fixing but won’t do anything about slow loading games and all the freezing that occurs on POGO?? Give us back our old home page….PLEASE??!!

After reading all these posts, are you still excited about your new homepage? It seems like you maybe the only ones. The general concensus is CHANGE IT BACK!!!
have given the new page a few days and still hate it. I don’t care about the games i played recently only played them once. My favorites are to big. I miss seeing my mini.
Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!! As much as I appreciate the work that was put in with development of the new homepage….I just want the old one back. Could you atleast allow us the option to switch back to the old format. I understand some might like the new format BUT from what I have read and heard…most of us just want the old one back. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK OR GIVE US AN OPTION….PLEASE!!!!!!!! Guess I will keep trying to figure it out but I do hope you will listen to your customers. Thanks for allowing me to share.

Please put the home page back the way it was. It is very confusing for many players. There was nothing wrong with it the way it was.
Many of your players are elderly and or seniors. It is very hard for them to get used to the new page, which we didnt need in the first place.
I do not care for the new home page one little bit. Most of the reasons have already been stated, but to recap:
The recently played bar is distracting and overly large and pretty much irrelevant to me. I know what I’ve recently played.
I do not care for having to hunt for games, juggling between favorites, all games, etc.
I do not like having to scroll down so far to see my mini. I like her to be in the top portion of the page where she was before.
I’m not really sure why you found the need to completely re-design the home page. I suspect it was some people making “busy work” to justify their jobs.
If you want to make a change that I would find very useful, I would like to have a way of arranging my mini items in a way that makes sense to me, ie. grouping holiday items together, etc. That is a change I ould really appreciate.
You hit the nail on the head momcat322. In addition, the new page is too bright. It gives me a headache just thinking about it, let alone looking at it.

I like the old homepage to PLEASE PLEASE Change it back I wish you would have had a page with choices and let us vote on it or give us a choice to leave our page that way or leave it the old way it really is not as good as the old way
i will not resubscribe to a website i can no longer understand – why does everyone think they have to change what already works….now that i am on facebook; i can play all day for free with people i actually know…..

the FAVORITES at the top of the page do NOT work. hangman hijinks stays there no matter how many real favorites i start playing. PLEASE GET IT OUT OF THERE. also, why cant we choose which games to put in there. why doesnt it fully show the real most recent games i have played. only the first 5 slots work
if you dont understand what we as paying customers want shame on you.. come march if not back do old homepage guess i wont pay anymore..fix it please……
Way too busy, not that easy to navigate
do not like the new home page, and also don’t have money to update to windows8, i will not be renewing my subscription, there are to many problems loading the games, very slow and keep losing connection
I have the same the problem. “lost connection to the server” message pops up in every game i play.
I do not know what members of the Pogo community helped with the new Homepage, but I certainly disagree with what their input was or what Pogo came up with. It is very user unfriendly, cluttered, confusing and not at all to my liking. My renewal membership was just paid and if I had seen the new page before I resubscriibed I would have not stayed with Pogo. I would have looked for another game site. i’m not going to beg pogo to change to the old format. i’m stating fact, i am not renewing my membership. if i want to play games i will play the “free” games. thanks pogo you are saving me money

Have to change brightness too much … back & forth, so i don’t get a headache from the bright whiteness. Unfortunately, it makes some of the games too dark. Looks as if a good 99% of your customers are unhappy with the change. Where are the 1% folks who opted for this? I’d like a word with them…. :=0
I do not like the new homepage. It is disorganized, and it is difficult to find what you are looking for. I also think that having the games on the right side makes no sense. We read from left to right. Put the games back on the right side. In fact, please go back to your previous homepage!
Hey don’t get mad at Pogo for hiring the handy cap. But they should not let someone with Bi-Polar design the Front page.
The only thing I like about the new homepage is the way favorites and games are displayed. In saying that I wish they would automatically be displayed alphabetically so you can find the ones you want to play more easily

Well this is the first time i have ever heard of your name and you did not talk to me SO DO NOT SAY THAT YOU TALKED TO THE PLAYERS ON POGO unless you talk to them all.
AS A LONG TIME POGO PAYING CUSTOMER I FIND THE NEW HOME PAGE ONE OF THE SADDEST THINGS YOU HAVE EVER DONE. HAD A CRASH AND TOOK A FEW DAYS BEFORE I GOT BACK TO THE TRAGIC MESS YOUR PROGRAMMERS HAVE MADE OF THE PAGE. IT MAY WORK FOR THEM BUT FROM ALL I READ THEY ARE THE ONLY HAPPY ONES WITH THIS MESS. GO BACK OR MANY OF YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS WILL BE GONE INCLUDING ME… SORRY AFTER 7 PLUS YEARS.
Here’s something interesting. My formerly second-favourite game site just did the weirdest thing. They fixed some issues the players had been complaining about and left the things that were working fine alone. What an odd attitude!

Rochelle E. Since you were the one that they interviewed about this fiasco I’ll address you specifically. I don’t know how many in your practice group you had test drive this new home page or their ages. In any case you should have given us the option of trying it out not forcing it out on us. Most of the comments are coming from PAYING remembers. And from reading above you are going to lose a large chunk of them. In this economy can you really afford to lose anyone let alone a large group? Pogo and websites like yours are considered a luxury not a necessity. People that pay for membership also buy gems or did you fail to take that into consideration? Paid members also get guest passes they can give to friends. I wouldn’t give a guest pass now if I were paid to. Again you lose more money. See where I am going here? We pay the salaries of everyone that works for Electronic Arts DBA Pogo. When the budget cuts happen and people lose their jobs due to the drops in membership then maybe you will listen to those members that are left. Because from everything I have read above there are very few that will stay. Tell the ones that lost their job what a great new homepage you have.
So right! This last time I dropped from a year to 3 month membership. Now I really don’t know if I want to keep this up. The site no longer says join, play, have fun. It’s uninviting and hard to find anything. It’s down right ugly.
We have been PAYING POGO CUSTOMERS for almost two decdades – don’t give us what YOU want, but give us what WE want – and THAT NEW HOME PAGE IS NOT WHAT WE WANT. Bad decision…really bad.
The three main things i don’t like about the new Home Page are; 1. It’s way to busy!! 2. Our mini is down to the right bottom and pretty much out of site. It doesn’t give much incentive to change it. 3. I just noticed yesterday that my favorite badge is nowhere on the page. I feel that you all at Pogo need to go back to the drawing board on this and get rid of the clutter…

How many thousands of negative messages do you need to receive before you realize that the majority of the Pogo members are not comfortable with “your new homepage” – I say “your homepage”, because it certainly does not fit with the needs of the masses, so it is not mine. A reality check is in order at this point……….and of course, a change back to the old format.

Since the new home page I can not load most of the games. This weeks challanges I`m only able to load 1 out of 3 so why pay for this site.
How much did you pay the 5 year old girls to redo the home page? I realize your going to be like facebook and no matter how many people tell you, you’ve made a mistake, we’re going to be stuck with this mess!
I don’t like the new home page and hope you will offer the old one for those who want it. I don’t like having to scroll to see most of my favorites. The line across the top for “most recently played” is not useful. If I want easy access to a game, I add it to my favorites. I don’t need to know which games I’ve recently played simply because they were the daily challenge. Taking up the most visible part of the page with News and an advertisement is not useful. I come for the games, not the News and certainly not for an ad smack in the middle of the whole thing. Please offer something more useful to those of us who just want to play!
Do not like the new format of Pogo! Takes too much time to find games. I already had a convenient easy to use format with favorites on old page…now have to do scrolling to get where I want to go and sorting through too much unnecessary information. Will cancel at next renewal time. So sorry I just renewed last month. Looks like no one in my family will continue subscriptions… pogo is losing 5 loyal paying customers over this.

your excited about your new homepage, but not the paying customers, despite all the unhapiness by the paying customers, you will not change back what we all enjoy, i will not renew with pogo, i play on pogo to relax, but i don’t see you trying to fix all the problems with the games, like freezing, not loading, it is too aggravating to enjoy games when they freeze, you have to stop and refresh and loose all progress towards any type of rank or badge. there are many free sites to play on, and i can easily relax and play for free. ranks and badges are great, but its not why i enjoy pogo, its the great people you get to meet, making friends all over the world, laughing and joking are part of pogo. take care pogo, i will not renew, absolutely not,
i agree mar, its great meeting people all over the place and even some in your own back yard, i also will not renew with pogo, its not worth it when ones happiness is involved, games freezing is a huge hassle on pogo, and they obviously dont seem to care, cause they dont fix it. i was going to buy 4 x-mas subscriptions to pogo for my family, but i have changed my mind now, i dont enjoy pogo anymore, i thought it would be great to have my family back on pogo, but forget it. they will complain and not be happy either.
