I’m not happy with this new homepage. Everything looks jammed together. For those of us with visual difficulties it makes it more difficult to read. Please give us the option of how we want our homepage to appear. MSN homepage has ways for you to “make it your own”. Any chance of that with the POGO homepage?
I truly hate the new Pogo homepage, not that you people care about byour subscribers.
The new homepage is really a mess. Things seem like they’re are just jumbled together with no discernible design and, in my opinion, it looks tacky and unprofessional. I have no problem with change when it’s necessary or when it’s designed to make things easier but, in this case, neither of these conditions have been met. I would like the option of being able to revert to the old look.
You took a truely great home page and made it look like the pogo page you get for free! It has absolutely no definition, and is messy and disorganized! It no longer looks like a home page at all, what are you thinking and why would you take our home page and make it less personalized? You have advertising as the main spotlight of the page instead of giving me what I am PAYING for, a personal homepage that highlights my mini and what I want to play!
I agree that the new home page is not as classy as the old one. The white background is harsh and give the page a look of being cheap and thrown together in a hurry. It was also much nicer to have the challenges on the left side of the page, as I’m sure that is what most of us Club Pogo members check for first. I play the games to relax like I’m sure many other Club Pogo members do, so if I could change one thing, it would be switch the harsh white background with a more muted and relaxing shade. Then I don’t feel the page is yelling at me. On a positive note, the tabbed menus are a nice addition.
Based upon all of the recent comments, I believe I may be the only club member who likes the new home page. Although POGO missed the mark on a few issues: 1) They introduced it during peak hours without any warning (this caused me some confusion), 2) They did not provide sufficient notification (should have been taken to an information / instruction screen before seeing the new page), 3) People read left to right so what’s important to the member should be placed on the left (shift mini’s to right and POGO Challenges to the right) 4) Reading through the complaints, placing the POGO Challenge check marks in the section “Label” fields has caused significant grief (place the completion check marks back beside each challenge), 5) The stark white data background is harsh as many members have noted (darken the “soft blue” page background by 2 shades then soften the white data background by 2 shades on the grey scale. i do not like your new pogo home page, it is hard to fing what game i want to get in, im very dissatisfied. it makes me not want to renew pogo when its time for my renewel, which is in just 4 months away.hopefully you will go back to the way it was. im not alone on this disappointment.
I do not mind change when it makes things better. We all know that change is a constant thing. However, we should not change just for the sake of change.
There are Several things I do not like about the new homepage.
It looks like you have made it an advertising page. It is no longer a home page for us to have our favorites and our mini. It says – – – you people that pay a subscription rate are not buying enough extras so let us put “in your face” these EXTRAS that we want to sell.
It says…………we no longer want to give you but very little for your subscription and we want you to spend your money and try our new things.
It also has this BRIGHT WHITE background that is not easy on the eyes. The old one was soft and made you feel relaxed when you sat down to play.
I think you have the advertising “in our face” from the time we log on and make it hard for us to find what we want to play until we get past this. If we pay for our subscription – why should we have advertisments pushed on us. These are YOUR advertisments.
You seem to be going more and more to pushing us to buy games instead of letting us Pay our Subscription and enjoy playing without a hassle.
I sincerely hope you will take these thoughts into consideration and let us have a choice of the old home page if we are a paying subscriber.

I could not have said it better.
I always thought that pogo had the classiest look. Now, you have taken the home page,,,, left the background the same and header, with the blue and gold, and stuck a stark white confusing mish mash right on top of it.
Horrible, not user friendly, nor easy on the eye. The mini no longer visible, just ads. Since our membership
fees and money for gems etc. keeps this game site going, we should have a say as to what we want and like.
The consensus seems to agree. Wake up Pogo, before your paying membership drops.
I’m sorry, but I have to agree. The new page just seems “way to busy” and not very inviting. It would be nice to be able to choose our style of homepage, as perhaps some may like this new look. I personally do not, and find that I don’t want to sit here and play as much as I used to. Hopefully someone will listen to our feedback and adjust accordingly.

I couldnt agree with you more. Well said indeed. This is one jumbled up mess. Makes it look more like a newbie site just trying to get started. Why not give us the choice of what we want on here, or even the simple choice of old instead of new. This really is a turn off for relaxing to play.

I DO NOT like the new homepage at all! It’s too flat and too cartoony looking…..just like the “Free side” Pogo page (not the paid ClubPogo site). I liked the old homepage because there was richness to it, deeper colors, more eye appealing. I have a feeling (and I may be wrong) the change was made to accomodate the people using the site from their mobile devices. First, you changed the game pages to accomodate mobile devices (no pop up games) and I could understand eliminating the pop-ups. Still don’t like the looks there either….those favorite game squares/blocks with the hearts are just cheap looking. On the game page, I liked seeing how many people were in a room and being able to select the room I prefered from the main page…..not having to click on a tab to see the rooms!! SOOOOO, it was only a matter of time before the homepage went the way of the game page/mobile device too. It’s really hard to believe that the Club Pogo homepage has to look so cheap, bright and unappealing in order for the people using mobile devices to see it.

PSS. What was the point in moving the Daily Games and Weekly Challenges from the left of the page to the right? AND then moving our mini, etc… from the right to the left of the page. I hate to say it but this seems like one of those “just messing with us” kind of changes….in other words there was no real purpose. It’s one of the changes that make it very confusing and hard to get used to.
Wow, I bet you will lose a lot paid players because of this. Or, maybe you are right about all the extra ads…..more ads-more money.
I know times are hard, but a cheap looking homepage is not going to help.
You’re right. Isn’t the point of being a Club member is to be able to play WITHOUT ads?
I don’t know about other members, but it is EXTREMELY annoying for me to be hit with a huge WorldWinner AD daily! Isn’t there something that can be done short of canceling memberships?

my home page takes forever to load.
the changes are dumb, just a waste of time in my book.
and i cant connect with daily challenges ,they dont ” activate ” its a waste,i dont even try them.

Not happy with the new appearance at all, it is extremely busy looking, and the monkeys and the balloons that are on the side today give it an appearance of a young child’s playroom. Really Pogo what were you thinking? I do not care for the last game played feature at all, as most of the time it is a game that I played simply for the daily challenge which 9 times out of 10 are not on my favorites list. I preferred the category list over the alphabetical list. Please Pogo please bring back the old adult appearing home page and lose the busy children’s appearance home page! Adults pay for and play on Pogo the new layout is awful!
I know you put a lot of work into preparing the new home page. But honestly, I dont like it at all. It looks like a kid’s game page. It is way too busy and very distracting. While I appreciate your efforts to give your site a new and improved look, I feel like this one is a “fail”. Sorry.
I do not care for your home page,it is confusing for some and go much on the page have to keep moving it back and forth to get to what we want,and I have a big screen so it should be no problem for me or my husband but it is..I would like to see u change it back to the way it was and let us enjoy our games that we love to play.thanks and I hope u will listen to the players of Pogo..
The new homepage is too busy and cluttered. Thera are too many visual distractions. For goodness sake; the balloon monkeys should be a solid place. People read left to right; I want to see my importantant matters first. The favorites at the top along with recently played are a real source of irritation. I like the old way the games were catagorized. It is much easier than flipping through the who A-Z list. It now takes too long to choose a chat room. This is not the quality improvements I have come to expect from pogo.
I’m a dreamer so here goes– Wish Pogo would make the components of their unpalatable new Home Page into moveable blocks! Like with many of the browser home pages, components can be dragged around to accommodate the preferences of the person using it. That way people could move the block containing their mini wherever and also self-design the remainder by readjusting the placement of the various blocks. Jus’ sayin’….
I won’t be renewing my subscription unless POGO fixes the window size so the whole game can be viewed especially Mahjong Garden, I have tried to adjust my resolution, size of the window, nothing works. like Pogo has some new geeks that want to show everyone they can make changes just to make changes. If you wanted to make things more difficult, you succeeded.
I made a reply to someone else’s comment then read that you want us to be more specific in our comments. So here goes., from the standpoint of how the new Home Pag works, I have no complaints. My complaints are about the look of the homepage. The only thing I can say is that it is more user friendly if that user doesn’t know how to read. All the icons of the games makes it look childish and breaks the eye in its move across the page. I ageree that all the white is harder on the eye also. If you are a Club Pogo member you have probably been playing long enough to know what your favorites are called without the icons.
I don’t mind the change of challenges from left to right I just question the neccessity of the move. It feels like to me that there are new people at POGO who want to put their stamp on the games,but it like the “NEW COKE’ . It sounded like a good idea at corporate but it failed miserably, most young people don’t evemn remember the attempt.
Those stupid icons across the top of the page. I don;’t know the purpose on all of them. Especially since at this presnt time they are showing a game I haven’t played in a month & one I don’t play unless forced to by a challenge.
Finally I resent being treated like a child or someone who doesn’t have a firm grasp of the language by the useof all of those icons. The whitness of the Home Page is harsher on the eye. The format of the page does make finding things & games I don;t play alot, much harder. I have always agreed with the idom, “Don’t fix it ,if it ain’t broke”. If your programmers need something to do, try new games, niot new looks. You failed in this attempt/
The new home page is so horrible it’s almost painful to look at. Please don’t dismiss all the complaints as people just not liking change – it’s truly awful!
I also agree with those who dislike the embedded games, it makes them hard to play and is a major step backwards.
One more person against it.. ME … bring back the old page and get these kids out of designing pages.. I reason to believe the majority of your “club members” are older. Save the money on the new designs and give a break on the membership charges.
I really am hesitant to complain about changes – thinking I will get used to them in time…. HOWEVER this change is so non-user-friendly that I think waiting is not going to change my reaction. Was this tested on Pogo players before being released? It is a poor design, hard to follow and visually harsh. Can we please have the option of which page we would prefer???
I did not care for the home page when I first saw it and I did make a negitive comment. So now I have given it a few days trying to get use to it and guess what I am liking it LESS and LESS….. I really wish I didn’t just renew my membership, to me right now it is a waste of my hard earn money….Sorry pogo won’t renew

I don’t like the new home page either. In fact I hate it and if it wasnt for my subsrricpition being up today and them taking the money I would cancel it. The only reason I havent is because my grandoaughter plays some games. I like the word find puzzle and you screwed it up for me because half the time i cant get in to play it and then it wont let me keep playing for the badges like it used to. The whole thing new look and all the other changes are not what I am paying for its the way it used to be that was better. Please put it back. I probalby won’t renew next year. it will be one less bill i have to pay since am going working and going to school at the same so dont hae the money anyway
If Pogo could just dump the icons and links on the top (the useless Recently Played info) and move the mini so it’s visible upon loading, that would go a long way towards compromising the wants of the members with the needs of the corporation. Changing the white background to a pale blue, and the pale blue skin to a shade a bit darker would help as well. Thanks.
I think pogo will learn that with this in your face new homepage …they will have less people playing on pogo. I know I spend less and less time here … on to more interesting things.
Three things.
One… Do not like recently played. The last two never changed. Move it or remove it, it is an irritation.
Two. Spotlight and news. Move it or lose it. This is nothing but your promotion and should not be the prominent feature on a paid game site.
Three. If you insist on keeping both of the above items, move them to the bottom.

What a shame I renewed my subscription right before the changes to the new homepage, now I’m stuck with it until Oct. next year. I feel so cheated because I don’t even want to play games on POGO anymore. Yes I know everything changes but change is suppose to be for the better not the worst. I guess I will check back in a month or two to see if POGO has listened to its members and changed the homepage back or made it better,if not I will not be renewing nor will I recommend or refer my friends to POGO.
I’m really disappointed that Pogo is changing something that wasn’t broken in the first place. Just because you want to make yourselves look like techo-hot shots doesn’t mean we like what it is you are doing. I quit Facebook because they were constantly changing the web page and formats. I work all day with over informed websites where I have to spend too much time navigating through that the last thing I want to do is jump through hoops for a game that I want to break away from to relax. Do us a favor…Don’t “fixing” something that isnt or wasn’t broken in the first place. And return it back to the same format. Please listen to the paying members..dont forget we are paying your salaries.
At least put our minis up at the top….I relly dont like any of it I liked it the way it was but I want to see my mini when I open the page not have to hunt for it. Over all scale 1-5 I give this new look a -2
I have played pogo for the last 12 years and became a member about 4 or 5 years ago. I really enjoy playing the games but since someone took over pogo they have been changing things left and right. I am sick of it. I see many members are thinking of not renewing and that includes me. What was wrong with the way the home page was it was great now you have this terrible homepage there is nothing good about it. I don’t care when my friends were in a game last it does not matte and I think I can remember what games I was in so you don’t have to tell me. PLEASE PUT IT BACK TO THE OLD PAGE.

I agree with everyone of the above comments. I hate the new homepage. It is scrambled so much that it is hard to read. the white background is too hard on my eyes(plus many others). To sum up my complaint, it is no longer “our home page” It is just another page for Pogo to advertise on. Please change it back to the way it was and ya will be making a lot of Pogo players (paying and nonpaying) very happy

well pogo, you have really done it this time.have you looked at the number of people playing here recently?at this time there is less than 130,000 and its Saturday,i can remember when not too long ago there were so many online at the same time that your servers were a big problem. not so now,at least not because of any overload.i only have 5 more days of membership left and i for one wont be renewing, unless the home page is changed back to the old layout.

I hope POGO reads these replies and notes that majority of members do NOT like the new homepage. The old page was more balanced, color-coordinated and put more importance on the member. I liked seeing my whole mini and all of MY information right there up ontop of the page. It was very personalized. This new page is a mumbo-jumbo of non-important info. making the “head-lines” along with a mixture of uncoordinated colors and fonts and sloppiness that is quite irritating! If POGO does not change it back, I’M not coming back when it’s time to renew.

I have never been a fan of changes, however , over time my attitude mellows.It does take time. Has anyone noticed or commented about the lack of the Pogo non-members rooms, especially in Mahjong Safari. They are missing, at least I can’t find my favourite 1 or 2 rooms to play in. Now, friends cannot find one another, so we have lost connection.( I do not keep a friends list, just in my mind) Will Pogo be restoring these rooms???? If Pogo offered refunds instead of keeping my money, I, too, would cancel my club membership.

CHANGE OF SUBJECT : We pay for our memberships every year. Why can’t you give Pogo members a gem when we earn a set amount of tokens. Like give us a gem with every 100,000 tokens we earn. I am with those who DON’T LIKE the new homepage.Does Pogo think we all all blind? Why is the favorite list so big? To big! The old page was much easier to navigate and much more user friendly.Leave the tabs for I.E where they belong.Not here.The challenges being on the right side of the page is funky. Wrong place in my opinion.Cut the size of all the junk on the page so a person can get a decent overall view of the games without having to hop from tab to tab.It is an overall mess & generally confusing. Not good at all. I have not made a comment before thinking that perhaps I would learn to like it.That just ain’t happening. I an also wondering why a lot of the member rooms have gone? Aren’t the paying customers important anymore?I guess not.Maybe we should all go back to being free players.I joined the club to get away from the adds.Now I have to put up with them in my face every time I open Pogo.
I do NOT like the new homepage, it’s not user friendly and is completely unacceptable. I’ve been playing Pogo since before it was “Club” Pogo, this is the 1st time I’ve ever written, I strongly dislike the home page.
On another note, I agree with Lindalu151, let us earn gems when we accumulate “X” number of tokens, at least it’s an incentive to play more. And I also agree with OlddirtySally, give us back ALL the chat rooms. Sometimes the room I and my friends always play in is there, and sometimes it’s not, and that is very frustrating.
I do not like the new home page…looks like it was designed by 5 year olds..bright white with balloons and monkeys..horrible. Also I want to see my mini when I log on to pogo, not scroll down to find it. All the items on the top and left side should be moved down to the middle and the mini and tabs should be moved to the top. Bring back the old background (loved the added designs during holidays). Or you can just bring back the old screen…it was perfect.
