i dont like the new home page… everthing is cramped together…. we pay 39.00 a yr and we should be able to have the choice if we want it or not.with all the promos pogo is giving, they should give some free clues secrets and spies games. we pay 39.00 a year yet we have to buy gems for certain games.. thats not fair at all..this is my opinion..Thank You
i agree. everyone reads from left to right and now the most important part of pogos is on the right. too much clutter in between.daily challenges should be the first thing you see when you go to home page.
I have posted before, but if pogo is looking for a remedy…why not have both, give those of us who are unhappy, back our normal screen and have the option for others to pick the alternate choice. Sort of like Yahoo mail, there is still a “classic” style to use if you don’t want to use the newer email process. I feel there are far more older, conservative people on here than pogo realizes. We found a place that was quiet and we could deal with the simplicity of playing our games in peace. Television is becoming more of a nuisance than a pleasure….plus rising in cost. Pogo, to me, is a retreat from that fact.
My daughter has a netbook, she loves to play bingo, but can’t get the entire picture on the screen anymore and therefore cant play anymore.
I find it very weird to not have my former information leading from left to right anymore.
TO THE DESIGNER OF THE NEW HOME PAGE…. WE HATE IT!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE PUT BACK IN THE MAIL ROOM WHERE YOU CAME FROM BECAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE PAYING DIE HARD POGO PLAYERS WANT….. OR MAYBE THAT’S THE PROBLEM…. POGO JUST DOESN’T CARE ENOUGH ABOUT ITS COMMUNITY TO REALIZE WHEN THEY HAVE MADE A GRAVE MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!

Since there is no reply from the makers of Pogo concerning this piece of crap homepage then we can all safely assume they do not care one bit what their customers, yes CUSTOMERS, think. I was thinking of finally renewing my subscription ( I occasionally use a friends Club Pogo to get badges for her) I can guarantee my renewal will not happen if the homepage stays the same!

members who pay $39.00 a year should have a say on any changes. after all we pay your salary. we should at least have a choice of new or old home page. we are the board members. no i dont like the home page. it is too cluttered and sloppy looking.

I agree, I do not like this one bit. I’ve been a member for several years and this may finally be it. The embedded games were bad enough, but this home page and the constant ads at the top, I thought I was paying for no ads. No real new games in a long time either, this is turning into a waste of money.

I also do not like the new home page..It was alot better before. Every thing is so white,I don’t like my favorites to be the center of the home page..I am not sure I will renew my membership if it is going to continue changing I know of others thinking the same way. You have issues with some games trying to get in to play..Why not work on things that are broken and leave the rest alone. I enjoy pogo but as was stated in another e-mail we pay for the reason to relax and enjoy our selves but this is a scrambled mess,plus it being so bright I get headaches alot more now..I have never written to complain before but this needed addressed.

One of the things I really don’t like (on any pages) are the White EVERYTHING with a few gray areas!!! They are very HARSH and COLD!! Not appealing at all! athe biege/cream color was very appealing. IE: When I play Marhjong Gardens and have to get all 4 seasons, I make sure I have Spring or Summer to jump into before I click Winter for this very reason!
Also i don’t like the Flip Flop of everything! I still think (what we deem important) to be on the left! I am a senior but I Don’t like the large Bold print of new Favorites!!
I’m saddened to read all the people saying they don’t think they’ll renew their membership.
Also YOU always change my first 4 favorites (Last played)on the bar accross the top but NOT the last 2 which I seldom play (unless daily). How can I delete or change these 2? They are not even in my favorites list!

HATE NEW HOMEPAGE. Stop mess things up. Hard to find things now. Wish we had a choice between old and new homepage. Every ones style is different.
Hate the new home page. It is too busy with all the stuff that was crammed onto it. Also every time I try to play a daily challenge, I click on activate but it sure isn’t activating. Play a game and find out at the end it was all for nothing. Bring back the old. My membership is coming in a few days and trust me, there are other gaming sites that would gladly take my money.
I, like many others, do not like the new homepage at all. The reason that I don’t like it is it has the same exact content as the previous version but it is now moved around. The colors are horrible and seem very unfriendly now. The tabs are just annoying. I rather enjoyed scrolling down to see which games had bonus tokens to play on. Now, it’s a lot of unnecessary clicking. It is no longer user friendly and by the previous posts regarding this subject, no one likes it but the Pogo staff.
Since this new Pogo home page has been updated I am not able to play any games for the badges any more The games won’t even open .ugh Any one have any suggestions why this is happening .

I agree that this new Homepage sucks. First of all, I like to see my mini when I go into Pogo…not have to scroll down to see it now on the left. I also don’t like my favorite games taking up half my screen. I don’t need to see the pics…I know what my games look like just by the title. I wonder if the Pogo team even read these at all. This page is too busy. The old page was perfect. Put the old one back for crying out loud!! Like one of the others said, “if it aint broke, don’t fix it”.
I haven’t played POGO games in quite a while. I sure am surprised to see all the changes! I’m with everyone’s opinion about the homepage………………I’m also lost. What happened to the 4999.00 winnings column? Don’t we have a chance for that anymore? I noticed there are on 135,000 players on when there used to be about 800,000. Now I know why. I definitely will not renew my membership.

I don’t like the new Home page. I can’t seem to locate the daily,any bonus games etc. What happened? The colors are really hard on the eyes. Why was it such a drastic change>

The new page is designed for force us to look at their PRODUCTS. The 1000th badge is designed to force us to buy more weekly badges. I don’t know about you but I am fed up and will no longer recommend pogo to friends. Most likely I won’t renew when the time comes.
I also hate this new page. It is to CLUTTERED. I liked being able to see my mini now I have to go find it.I am also rethinking about renewing my subscription because it is getting boring. same daily challenge games so boring. as another customer said we pay your salary with our subscriptions so why cant we have a say in this. i just want to old page back. I have been with pogo since the start and I am finding myself getting very bored with it. They want more money just to play games on top of our subscriptions. I dont invite anymore friends to sign up cause they dont like it either. and half the time the games wont play cause I think you guys have way to much going on so it takes away from the games. I find myself looking for other game sites. bring back old page and fix games.

since the change my games wont load properly it is if the games got bigger and the border stayed the same size, cant see the whole game. any ideas on how to correct this?
Homepage was not broken, why did you change it. I hate it. Sometimes you don’t remember the name of the game, but you do know if it was a card game, puzzle game casino etc. Much easier to find games the other way. Go back to what it was. Did not do me any favors.
OK found what I was looking for under catagories. It is somewhat better. Don’t totally hate it, but still see no reason for change.
I have tried the new home page for several days and I do not like it at all. I have had Pogo for nine years and liked the way the other home page was set up. It was easy to find anything I wanted. I would hate to quit playing the games I enjoy just because someone decided this home page would be better. Please put it back the way it was.
I really find the new homepage to be cluttered and not user friendly. If your going to spend time developing something, spend it on fixing the slow loading, often freezing games. The old homepage was functional and easy to find what you want. I also, often play on UK site as I dislike the new friends list.
Yeah, I have been using the new homepage for a few days, hoping I would get used to it and stop feeling such distaste, and I’m coming up short. I really dislike having to scroll down to find my favorites and I miss my mini being in an obvious place. Honestly, I haven’t spent 11 million tokens on my lovely mini and all her stuff to be unable to admire her at first glance on the homepage…

I as most on here HATE it, put it back or I quit buying gems, games and memberships and will change to games.com and leave who ever got a wild hair up the butt get his wages from others but NOT me. I also do not like the new home page. I love to play the clues and spies games or the find the hidden items but you only gave us two free games and then we have to buy the next ones which to me is just wrong.. I have already paid to play these games and don’t feel I need to pay for extra plays. My membership is up in March and I have been a paying member since the beginning but don’t think I will renew my membership. It seems that I have not the only one that feels this way, there is never alot of members on line like there used to be so I guess they have stopped playing Pogo and I can understand that. I hope you listen to your membership players and put thing back the way they were and fix the things that don’t work and haven’t worked in a long time now. Thanks

I agree with everyone who hates the new home page. Besides having to upgrade my computer, POGO is trying my patience with this new nonsense.
I also dont like the new format of the homepage. If I could have my mini and my quests put back on the top of the screen, along with my stuff I would be a lot happier. I dont really care to see the other games or the pogo news. That is somehting that I will scroll down for but I would like my stuff to be the top from left to right. I want to open the pogo screen and see everything that I have going for the day and week at first glance. Im not against chane but we are paying customers and I think that was alot thrown at us without a “by your leave” kind of thing. I hope these things are straightened out before its time for me to renew because your lack of response is sad.
Like everyone else, I hate the new homepage. It is basically a hot mess. I think they sent to China to design it – they read right to left over there unlike most of us from the western world who read from left to right. And I totally agree with every comment about the brightness – I get migraines and half the time I find I am trying to turn down the brightness on my screen because my eyes are hurting so badly I end up with a headache. I honestly don’t think POGO give a you-know-what about what any of us thinks or wants. I don’t know how many times I have contacted them, and have never been satisfied with the responses I have received yet – their knee-jerk reaction is to first of all respond as though the person questioning them has never seen a computer before and to tell you to clean your cache and update your computer. They never question one’s knowledge base (I used to teach computers so this approach is particularly galling) and then proceed to tell you they will work on it and 3 weeks later send you and e-mail saying they haven’t heard from you so they assume the issue has been resolved. Very helpful. So even though WE all agree that this is a disaster – I don’t think we are going to get any reaction out of POGO. Unfortunately. But one can dream!

I hate it~what was wrong with the way it was before? Why did you change it~it was not broken? It was easier to read & navigate through it before-this new format is horrible-please bring the old format back. According to the comments above I am not alone in disliking the new format. Obviously the person or persons that changed it-don’t play POGO !!!! What were they thinking? I don’t see any positive comments above–that should tell you something. We all spend a lot of money playing pogo-I hope that you will reconsider. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion.
I hate this new homepage. I can’t even get full page games any longer so can’t play the games. I picked the Daily Word Search for a challenge this week, and because of the move of items to the right of the screen, I can see the first 3-4 letters of the words I need to search for. Now, how is that going to work? I agree with other posts I have read, we should have an option as to which homepage screen we want to use. If Pogo gave us that choice, I am sure they would realize how big of a mistake they have made, by all the customers that would go back to the older homepage, although, it wasn’t that old. They should learn to leave alone what works!
Correction: I can’t view the LAST 3-4 letters of the words I have to search for. Guess it doesn’t really matter either way, because I still can’t play the game….on a game site, I pay to play games. Makes sense to me…
nothing I want on my home page is “above the scroll” now. I don’t want to pay to have ads shown front and center, that’s why I went club. Now I’ll be going elsewhere.

I think that pogo programmers should go back to school… This GUI design is against everything that is being taught in programming 101: a very cluttered page that crams everything and makes it hard to see anything… I am sure it is easier for them to code but is against every principles of good practice.. I recommend for the coders to read the excellent book GUI Bloopers 2.0, Second Edition… by ›Jeff Johnson. I believe that they have used a few of the bad examples in the book…

last night I read a response from the Pogo team regarding all of our complaints. I couldn’t believe it when he said that he didn’t want to hear the I hate this and hate that about the new homepage. What is wrong with you people…don’t we have a right to voice what we are feeling?
And I could tell that Pogo has absolutely not intention of putting things back…well I will not renew the next time around…I have had it with the uncaring and thoughtlessness you people show towards your customers.

I also do not like the new page. The old page was my home page. I was at the top out front and what was important to me was right there where I could find it quickly. This new page is POGO’s and I am just on there somewhere. With all the clutter, you really have to look to find me and then shift around to find things I want to see. The old page worked just fine. Learn from coke a cola and don’t fix what ain’t broke.
