While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:
Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!
Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.
Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.
Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information
Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!
OK. One problem for sure. Challenges are not at upper right, they are located at the bottom left and the space next to them for the entire length is blank. I cleared my java files but still looks the same. Fixing that would help some, but it would still not be near as consumer friendly as the original before the last change.
this is not the site I signed up for, now the badges games won’t even open up so how do we get our badges. what a mess you made of your site, I am definitely not renewing my membership, tired of all the drama pogo puts us through.

So far I like it. I can see ALL of my mini (not sure why some said they could only see part of theirs, did they change that already?), and I REALLY like all the white space. Everything (I can think of) that I need is right there, easy to see, easy to click.
Some of the comments are just plain ridiculous. Pogo isn’t making anyone pay AGAIN for games, I have no idea what that poster is talking about. I tried to do some of the things people are complaining about with no issues (except with IE, which I NEVER use anyway, but I am sure Pogo will work on that issue now that they are aware of it) … I can see ALL of my mini, I can sign out and back in with no issues.
I absolutely HATED the way it was before. There was so much crap everywhere I found I was missing things. Thanks, Pogo, for making it easier to read. I’m going back to playing the games, since the front page has nothing to do with my decision to pay/play. lol
I feel the same way as IPinkClover, I love the new homepage, its not as boring as before. Thank you Pogo for the change.

Add me to the list of haters. The “recnetly played” buttons are redundant and obnoxiously large and obstreperous. The background is too white and unpleasant. Why switch the left column to the right? It makes no logical sense. Minis are important to people, and you’ve marginalized them.
Also add sweetrosebean, my mother, to the list. Change is difficult for older people. She said she is ready to quit Pogo and take up scrapbooking.

Whatever you hoped to accomplish with this new look, you have failed!! There’s not one single thing I like about this new homepage! We ought to at least have had a say in this! We ought to at least have had a choice…this ugly looking thing, or the one we had before this! I want the other one back!!!
Pogo…you are getting on my one last nerve!! And my membership renewal is due in December! I want my old page back!
Shame on you for making unnecessary changes without even a poll to see if we were interested! We pay big bucks, and not just for membership fees. What it’s costing for gems, for books, for mini’s…it’s gotten way out of hand! Why don’t you come up with a way for us to use some of these millions of tokens, that are useless to us, to purchase the badges or books??? No, instead you waste time…our time…with ugly homepages!!
I know I’m getting old but my eyesight is not that bad that I need the home page that BIG. There are games that need to be bigger; not the home page. I have to agree with the majority; I don’t like the new format and wish it would be changed back to the old one.
One can only hope that someone, anyone at EA Pogo reads PAYING subscribers opinions here and that they will be seriously taken into consideration.
The newly ‘designed’ homepage white background is horrible on the eyes and categories we need to access readily have to be searched for now. It’s very jumbled up and frustrating.
Unfortunately, as many others have stated, I see no reason to be a paying subscriber when my subscription expires. It’s just too much nonsense almost constantly any more.
PLEASE, try to take into account that most of your members are not in their 20’s or even 30’s. We are also the very ones who have supported Pogo for many years, yet it is us who continue to be alienated BY Pogo!
I hope we are not just venting into nothingness…..This is really sad.

The new page really stinks! I have tons of blank spaces wasting away above while I have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the weekly games. The old version was much simpler. I could see everything at a glance. THEN, if I wanted to find a new game I could scroll down.
Want to add more on my comment thought it was just what it showed on the screen didnt know you had to keeep scrolling down to find challenges bring back the old home page.

Sorry, don’t care one bit about the new homepage. The design has gone backwards. Its obvious that the majority of people hate it as much as me. To busy, not a clean layout like before. I know you won’t put the old one back, but please listen to your customers!!!!
Why are the challenges underneath everything rather than on the right? I have adjusted my screen resolution to every single option my computer offers and it does not resolve the issue. I dislike the white color and don’t like the recently played icons on the top. I also do not like the ad window, or how large the favorites are. Where is the information about how many players are currently playing? the friends page has also been messed up for me, as the actual list of my friends is underneath everything as well,and I have to scroll down 2 pages to find them. Why are you making changes to things that are not broken? Could you please put it back the way it was? I buy gems, have been a member for 9 years and have spent a LOT of money here for badges and mini items. Including the paying members into the decision process of major site changes would improve customer relations and retention. PLEASE, put things back. At least offer the option for players to choose their homepage layout. Is there not technology advanced enough to offer different homepage options for members? Give us 2 or 3 layout/color options to choose from, allow members to customize their homepage. Doesn’t giving your customers MORE options make better sense than forcing a design on them that they find cumbersome? Not all your customers are 20 yrs old and facebook addicts. I truly hope you are not so foolish as to ignore so many unhappy customers. I won’t get used to having to scroll 3 pages down to find my challenges. It’s ridiculous.
I dislike the new homepage. It feels like you have to scroll forever and ever (just in the favorite games tab alone), let alone the other games tabs.
I really dislike the favorite games tab especially due to how ‘spread out’ the list is. I know what the games are, I don’t need an image icon to remind me which is which. This list specifically feels like it got dumbed down for those who cannot remember which game is which.
I feel the recently played games list at the top is a waste of space. I don’t need a reminder of what I played last.
I don’t understand why the far left column is basically empty while the far right has tons of stuff on it. It feels unbalanced.
The ‘balances’ information under the mini is redundant. We already have the gems and token amounts at the top of the page.
Plus the white (or super light blue/grey) is really hard on one’s eyes.
I believe I’ll be sticking to the ‘categories’ tab since it shows all the games with the least amount of scrolling.

the way it was, and I can’t understand if you have loyal players, why you can’t let us be happy when we log on each day. It seems to me you are phasing out the Mini, and if that happens, I will be one of those who let’s my subscription expire also. Most people are right-handed, so why would my stuff be off to the left–the visuals like the Mini. I try not to use hate often, but I think I HATE this new format. I’m ‘older’ and I don’t mind change that is positive, but these recent changes are not positive at all. Hate the layout and the images, font size, design. It really stinks!
Dreadful! Not about us (the Members) at all. Just one big promotion for games and crap. The games at the top for favorites aren’t even ones I play. The big flashing ad space in the middle is an atrocity. Please return to the other format!
I am 60 years old and a member for 8 years plus I played pogo for years before I finally paid to join.. Why would you want to confuse people like us by changing things around.. We pay you to allow us to play the games and it was so easy to just come in and click on a game. If I wanted to read the pogo news I would click on it now it is like we are being forced into reading it.. Also why all the space to advertise a game we know about the game if we want to play it..
You people at Pogo have made it very hard on us to find what we are looking for..
I am handicapped and it’s hard enough to use my hands without having to scroll every where looking for the weeks challenges.. I use to love it here but you have made it so hard now.
Last month I was charged 3 times for gems that I purchased once and it is just getting worst with you.. I am not going to renew when my subscription is up.. Why make you rich and myself frustrated…

This new homepage was NOT designed with ME in mind. I hate it! It is hard to find anything and it looks cheesy. It reminds me of the non member home page. Whoever designed this mess should find another job at POGO. Whoever approved this new design should look for another line of work. This sure isn’t the people’s choice, and we do pay the bills!
it is ugly. my not renew. it has been messed up since face book got in it. we pay to play here but half the time cant get in games. go back to the old way

My Homepage is a mess. Nothing is lined up properly and I have to scroll down forever. I rebooted my computer thinking it was me, but I tried a second computer and the same thing…it’s a mess!
If all the sections were aligned properly I’m sure I could get used to it…this is just not worth me playing. I just may stick to my games on Facebook!

i think most of the ppl have spoken about it during games the new home page is not liked,it looks bland unconvincing to a possible new member too.please i think u should have ur staff monitoring chat to see what members think, i even had to tell ppl where to comment on it .honsetly its terrible.

I want my challenges, things to do, to be listed first, on the left – this format is very disconcerting. I also want to see my mini back at the top. More condensed is better than spread out all over. Whatever were you thinking??? Please bring back the old home page and the old friends list. As many have said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
I don’t like the new layout. For some reason, my columns are not lining up like the demo video shows. I am using internet explorer – should I use another browser?

Yeah have to agree it sucks. Terrible design, everything is a confusing mess. You have to search now for the games. The colors are off as well, where the blue was no there is only white.

I looked at my pogo today and wondered what happened.where was the daily special? and the new weekly games?scrolled all the way to the bottom to find a daily game.why not let those of us who don’t like the new page go back to the old one and the others stay.for myself ,I hate it.and I have been a paying member for years.
