Introducing the New Club Pogo Homepage!

We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.

 

While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:

 

Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!

Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.

Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.

Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information

Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!

    • I truly find nothing wrong with the new home page either. We have known for weeks exactly how it would look and work. I am not quite sure what the fuss is about. Seriously quitting Pogo which costs you 40.00 per year over a homepage??? We all spend more than that in one week for coffee. Like any other change it will take some a bit of time to get used to. Give it a chance please everyone.

  • I still hate it. Sounds like most all others that reply do also. When are we getting our old home page back. I liked seeing my mini when signing on.

  • I hate it and to think I pay to play. you have no concern for your players If it’s not broke don,t fix it give us some voice in what you decide to do

  • I hate it….Does the people that run Pogo care about what the users think? The majority hates it. Bring back the old!!!

  • I love how all the forum threads complaining about the new home page were magically deleted since yesterday.

    So basically, we’re stuck with a horrible home page, gems costs and uses are getting out of control, our mini mall is a disaster that no one seems concerned about.

    My renewal date is in October 2013, if Pogo isn’t “fixed” by then you can count me out of renewing my subscription too. And minus the $40 + I spend on gems each month.

    It’s as if Pogo doesn’t care about it’s loyal customers anymore, all they seem to want is to get new customers.

  • There is an old saying, that applies to this mess..’IF IT ISN’T BROKEN, DON’T FIX IT”!! No one likes this page, and the money spent could have been put to better use!

  • I really got excited when I first saw that the homepage was going to be updated! But then after seeing it I’m very disappointed! It seems like all that matters now is the Pogo news, which seriously how many people really care about? We’re all here to play the games and to chat! I don’t like having to scroll down to see the games and my poor Pogo Mini is in tears because I don’t get to see her!!! Next time you update the homepage, please, make it better! The way it is now isn’t worth paying for and it appears that many people are going to quit!

  • Like a lot of comments I am reading, I too hated the look of the new page, decided to sleep on it and try again this morning. I hate it even more now — the screen colors are most definitely irritating to the eyes. It is awkward and not user-friendly, but that pales in comparison to the fact that it is actually painful! And no comments from Pogo management trying to defend their decision? Is that because you CAN’T?

    If POGO ran it’s business for it’s customers’ enjoyment instead of it’s own satisfaction, the customers would be recommending it, not complaining about it.

  • I also do not like the new home page. It used to be my favorites where bunched up together and near the top of the page. Now I have to scroll down and they are in such big boxes. I am like every one else – BRING BACK THE OLD WEB PAGE!!!

    • I completely HATE it. If it stays like this after almost a decade on Pogo I will not renew.

  • I agree with everyone else. The new page sucks. Why fix something that isn’t broken. We pay money to play so why not listen to the members. Please put back the old.

    • Format not user friendly. Older people will not like it. You will lose many many paying customers. It wasnt broke. The designer should be kicked to the curb.
      Change it or be ready for the change in membership.

  • I dont like this new page..way to busy….and I think we should have the option to use the old or the new…be interesting to see if Pogo listens or not…I dont think there was anything wrong with the old format…..

  • I do not like the new home page–why change something that doesn’t need to be changed. It is very confusing. Bring back the old one!!

  • Yes, please bring back the old page. Is it really necessary to show us pictures of the games we play in the list? Why fix things that aren’t broken? I don’t care how things are done on Facebook, I am not on that and will not be on it. Please bring the old page book and sign in page back. Also, please do something about the friends page–do not like having people add me that I don’t know. We should have a say in how we are added to someone’s list.

  • I don’t like it either. Don’t understand why I have to scroll so far down the page to get to the challenges. Makes no sense.

    I don’t like this homepage. What happened to a vote???? We voted on other things like naming Needles!!

    I am tired of paying for games that don’t load the first time. I constantly have to hit refresh to make them load, if they load at all. I do, however, like the stealth mode, if it worked. It goes back and forth from stealth to online, then it changes the settings in my account (it changes Gift Display Keep sender names private, Keep messages private by taking off all the check marks) and I constantly have to go back and fix that, which is annoying. Games freeze up. These things are actually “broken”.

    Unfortunately I just bought a bunch of albums and badges and my club renewal is in January, so I am going to have to renew ONLY because I will not be able to complete what I bought before the beginning of January and I am not going to waste all THAT money I spent.

    This will be the last time I renew unless Pogo starts fixing what IS broken and starts listening to what their paying customers are saying by allowing us to vote or have a poll on what WE, the paying customer, think of future changes.

  • I must put in my two cents as well…I do not care for the new page…I like the challenges on the left, and the mini on the right…and the forums have no listing unless you scroll down to the bottom..it took me a while to find that one…please listen to your members and allow everyone to pick which view they want….that way there is the best of both worlds….

  • This new format stinks. You do not make it easy to contact you when we have a problem either. I hate going to EA to try to contact someone about a problem.

  • Hey pogo get a clue…… if you havn’t noticed NO ONE likes this new homepage! I have been a pogo subscriber since 2001 and have seen alot of changes. And up til now I have continued to pay for my games. This change may be the straw that broke the camels back. PLEASE for the love of your subscribers…..PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!

  • What have you done? This is horrible. Everything is a mess. Did you really have to fix something that wasn’t broken. You have to scroll all over the place and there are a lot of open areas. Don’t know if I want to renew again. I think everyone is unanimous on all of this.

  • Like the rest on this long long list, I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW HOME PAGE! (Are there any comments in favor of it??) If you continue with this format, I will also be joining the list of those who do not renew my membership.
    There are other game sites and I will be checking them out. May even go back to Yahoo, that is where I used to play before I joined Pogo.

  • Why doesn’t Pogo spend the time and money fixing things that are actually not working!!!! There are so many games that still have glitches and loading issues and the site crashes or has “Technical Problems” way to often.. Now the site is going to keep going down and not load while they try to work out all the bugs and issues with the new page. Another serious issue is Technical Support they have definitely outsourced that. The last two times I had to contact them they never have any idea what I am saying. They hardly speak English and I had to explain my problem 5 times and use basic elementary school vocabulary because they can’t understand you. Then most of the time they still don’t fix the problem they give the badge or some tokens and tell you the problem will be looked into and you never hear back from them. It’s so stupid how the right side of my homepage is now an entire screen longer on the left side. Don’t they realize we are paying customers and they should try to make us happy. I think I have finally had with them. They never seem to care what we want. At least give us the option of the old or new homepage. POGO IT’S TIME YOU STARTED LISTENING AND RESPECTING WHAT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS WANT!!!!! It’s 2005 anymore there are a lot of other websites out there for us to go play on!!!!!

  • I HATE THE NEW HOMEPAGE… I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYONE, IT’S CONFUSING IT’S TOO BRIGHT AND IT’S JUST PLAIN AWFUL… PLEASE POGO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONE. YOU SAY YOU DESIGNED THIS WITH US IN MIND, BUT I DON’T RECALL ANYONE ASKING YOU TO CHANGE THINGS,OR EVEN LETTING US HAVE A SAY IN WHETHER WE WANTED CHANGE.I MISS MY OLD POGO,WHEN THINGS WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME I DIDNT HAVE TO GO SCROLLING AND SCROLLING AND SCROLLING FOR IT.POGO USED TO BE THE BEST SITE TO PLAY GAMES, UNTIL YALL DECIDED TO “FIX THINGS” WHEN THEY DIDNT NEED FIXING.AND SINCE THEN IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL.   • old format was much better. this version sucks. I have to scroll for what seems like forever to even get to the weekly badges and daily challenges. Please, please, please change it back.

  • one problem I am having with the new page is that on the daily games a tag appears “club only”and will not allow me to win my tokens no matter how many times I play and never goes off “activate’.

  • The new page is way too busy with all the small icons, so that nothing stands out: it’s just a lot of visual noise. Additionally, there is too much glare. The old yellow background was much easier on the eyes. I haven’t liked any of the changes made since they started embedding games, mainly because the glare is a serious problem for me. I’m diabetic, and it has affected my vision– and Pogo is where I really notice it now.

  • My Mini belongs up top on the page! If we want to read the ‘News’ we can scroll down and read it, WE WANT
    TO SEE OUR MINI UP TOP! The whole page is a mess and is confusing, sorry but I don’t like it, please consider changing it back to the way it was. Thanks.

  • PLEASE BRING BACK OLD FORMAT. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY POGO. WHY MAKE CHANGES TO SOMETHING THAT WAS WORKING SOOO WELL.

  • The daily & weekly challenges are on the left side of the page all the way down at the bottom. The gold bar across the top is on two lines instead of one. Everything looks like it shifted to the right. I am pissed that you fix things that are not broken for the people in your office not the players. Quit screwing around or I will find another game site to play at.

  • Like everyone else I dislike the new look. Pogo you forgot to ask us, the people who pay your pay checks what we think. If you pay attention to the feedback on this you will change it back or at the very least give the option to choose what WE want.

  • Its the worst yet, I cannot stand the brightness and format , I hate it, if they do not change it back I am threw with pogo, will not renew nor purchase any gems and use my money for things I like and get use of else where.

  • I cannot believe that we pay allot of money for our memberships each year, just to have any say so about this change! I think it sucks, some of us, (under different names) have had Pogo a while. Being the favorite place to pass time (disabled) or (retired). It looks like I am on Facebook. and it feels the same. It’s good to see so many others feel the same way as myself! Come on POGO this is your up to date,? PLEASE?????

  • Really dislike this new home page. Unfortunately until we REALLY don’t renew – they won’t listen to us; they have to be hit in the pocketbook. I’m sorry – I really enjoyed playing Pogo I will be sad to leave. I have a few more months to go. I suggest that all of you that have your credit card on file – delete it so they know we’re really leaving. Goodbye to all of the great friends I’ve made over the years!
