We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.
While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:
Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!
Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.
Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.
Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information
Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!
I don’t like the new one either and wish they gave me the option of the new one or old one….

I really do not like the new format. It is confusing and if you cant see that great its harder to see than the other one was. It was not broke so why fix it you made it worse. It is a lot harder to find things on this one and the mini should be at the top after all we pay for our page and it seems like we have no say over it, we can type these comments but will you really listen to what we are saying?
Why do you keep changing things that are not broken? This is a change that did not make sense and really not needed . It is much to busy and not as clean looking as I feel it could be. This is one of the times I am not a fan

I truly hate this new look to the pogo homepage!! I agree with everyone else! This new look is terrible, very confusing, and unorganized!! I was going to renew my subscription, but you know what pogo??? I WONT!!!! This is ugly and makes no sense I am not paying over $40 for this crap!! I am a graduate student and this was a source of fun and release from stresses of school for me! Why didnt you ask us paying members what we think?! Oh wait, we dont matter, all you care about is our $$$$$$$!, Well sorry pogo, unless u change back to the old way you no longer get my yearly member fee!! SHAME ON YOU POGO!!!!!!!
Please give us back the OLD HOME PAGE – it was so much more user friendly than this new one!!! Maybe if the design techs at POGO (or wherever changes like this take place) would spend more time upgrading the games or giving us games that are fun and challenging they would actually be accomplishing more! Just something for Y’all to ponder!!!!

The new & improved, modern, fresh page SUCKS!!! It is very confusing & very hard to navigate. Neither my mom or myself will be renewing our memberships. POGO used to be fun, but in the last couple of years it has been a nightmare. They want to fix whats NOT BROKE & not fix what IS! If you are fortunate enough to get through to someone…they always say it is your computer or the browser you are using when its always a POGO issue. Bring back the old page.

Don’t like it either. I want the old one back. All the stuff I never look at is at the top. I have to struggle to find the stuff that used to be easy to see. I feel completely dyslexic this morning. I mean come on Pogo. Pogo has worked way too hard for the past 8 months making sure I don’t enjoy my morning coffee anymore. This mess started with “embedded” games and has gone downhill ever since. They are trying to be everything to everybody but have only succeeded in being nothing to nobody.

I agrees with everyone its too bright i cant see anything and its too junky for me I like things neat….Please bring back the old one….This one sucks really…We pay we should vote.. I am very unhappy :( I spend alot of hours on pogo I want to enjoy my experience..
I do not like change for change sake. I do not see where this change was necessary. Why waste time on the homepage when new games are needed.
My new home page is certainly not streamlined. All of the challenges are at the bottom and I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find them. Not easy to use or customer friendly. I don’t care for the embeds either, but apparently the designers do. The page continues to look more and more juvenile. What age group are they aiming for? Ten year olds? However, I doubt they will pay attention to consumer complaints until Pogo players start voting with their feet and drop their memberships.
I completely agree. Pogo should be aiming for an older audience, as we are the ones who can pay for the membership and I am assuming most players are over the age of at least 30!!

As stated yesterday (which my post seems to have disappeared) I hate the new home page!!! I would also like to add the question of what gives Pogo the right to add things that they want me to download or buy on my personal favorites list???? The nerve, it is my personal favorites list and I set it up with the games I WANTED on it and not have Pogo add things they “think” I want to buy/download. And I AM NOT TRYING TO POST TO FAST !!! Another Pogo fupar that needs to be fixed, like why I now have to jump from server to server to try and get a game to load. I have lost badges because I couldn’t get the game to load and just gave up in frustration. I come to Pogo to relax and forget about my own overwhelming problems for a bit, not add to them!!!
I find this new layout to be cluttered and cumbersome. The biggest change appears to be making your rotating advertising box larger and then making it the focus of the initial page. I look at it occasionally but not enough to justify making it the centerpiece of the home page. Besides, I look through it once and I am done with it but it continues to take up the bulk of the home page real estate even if it is now useless.
I have no use for the “Recently Played Games” bar. I either know what I played or only played them because they were part of a challenge. I find that this serves no useful purpose. I also find the “Recommended Games” to just be additional clutter on the page. I am quite capable of finding new games if I want something different. Your “recommendations” are frequently for games I would never play so why waste space with this?
With the old home page, I was able to position the screen such that I could see my token balance, play the daily challenges and sometimes the weekly challenges without having to scroll anything. Or at most scroll down a half screen to get the weekly challenges. Now it is necessary to scroll all over the place to find the various bits of information that used to be compactly organized. I will probably renew in a few days but like many others, this change along with the many technical challenges (games not loading/playing) is making me consider seriously dropping Pogo. The increasing aggravation factor is about to reach my breaking point.

I AM TIRED OF TRYING TO GET THE JAVA STRAIGHT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY GAMES THAT I PAY FOR ON POGO. YOU CAN’T FIND ANYONE TO GET HELP. I WANT TO TALK TO A HUMAN AND GET THIS FIXED. THIS IS CRAZY YOU PAY FOR THIS SERVICE AND CAN’T USE 80% OF IT. I AM READY TO DROP IT AND I HATE THE NEW POGO PAGE IT IS SO MESSED UP. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO BE ABLE TO FIX MY GAMES AND BE ABLE TO PLAY WHAT I PAY FOR. POGO NEEDS TO CONSIDER THEIR CUSTOMERS. PLEASE I WANT MY POGO FIXED. Such hype for a terrible change. Old saying…Ain’t broke don’t fix it !!! I hope you listen to your subscribers and put it back to what it was. I hate Facebook and do not appreciate having it pushed in my face. You will lose so many paying customers, who have been members for years – and it wil be your own doing. I so hope you really listen to your customers and fix this mess.
After reading the letters to the editor from October 31, 2012 it seems that the horrible new home page was shown to a few people, some newbies. After reviewing it they were given 20,000 tokens. HOW ABOUT HAVING THEY PAYING PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN HERE FOR MANY YEARS REVIEW YOUR PLANS. I don’t care about the tokens. The layout of the home page hurts my eyes. I have optic neuritis in my left eye and the change of the challenges (from the left side to the right)
makes both of my eyes hurt more than they should.
A comment from the so called editor: “While it may take a little getting used to, we don’t expect that it will be much of a hurdle to get used to.” WHY TRY TO FIX SOMETHING THAT DID NOT NEED FIXING?

OMG POGO, are you kidding??? Hear’s one more to the list of unsatisfied members. This new page is ALL OVER THE PLACE. By the time you’re done scrolling, who wants to play? The favorites page is the worst. Why does it have to be so big and taking up so much space? I’m not going so far to say that I wont renew, but this REALLY SUCKS!
Yuck thought i payed to play without adds, but i only see boring Pogo adds when i open site YUCK. I want to see my stuff and my mini when i open site and NOT all that crap. Shame on you POGO

Absolutely one of the poorest site pages ever. Too junky, too confusing and utterly a mess! Whoever designed it must have been a disorganized and confused individual.

Wow, more people have joined the “Don’t Like” column. I tried to get to work on this weeks badges, but I just can’t. I don’t even want to pick my personal badges for this week. I just don’t want to play here anymore. Thanks POGO for ruining my form of entertainment.

I realize that occasionally pages need to be updated, but seriously?????!!!! Bad enough what Pogo’s done to the game pages, but this new home page takes the cake. It’s so cluttered that it’s nearly impossible to find anything. Clean it up please. Like the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
So sorry but I have to agree with everyone – this new page was not necessary as there was nothing wrong with the old one – I do think if the challenges had been left on the left side, etc, it would have made the page a little easier to navigate. I know the creators think that they did something great, but in reality, the old saying goes, if it is not broke, don’t fix it definitely applies here. Probably won’t renew my subcription in February – have been a member since it started, was free to start for aol members, then the fee’s started and they are now to the point of being rediculous – there are so many free game sites where I can play a lot of these games. I don’t care about the badges any more, you really can’t use your tokens, and even the jackpot amounts have been reduced from the max of $4999.00 like they used to be – or double for members – not that I ever won anything !! Just don’t see myself continuing on a site that is just not offering the members anything for their loyalty.

First we join pogo thinking we have a chance to win up to $5,000 – they sell to another company and we are lucky to see $100 or $200 prizes. Now the biggest MESSY homepage I have ever seen. I almost logges off last night for the last time. This page has no organization – just lots piled on other things – please bring back our old page and let that person that supposedly made a wonderful homepage draw comics. Minni13

The new homepage is terrible. Why change a good feature for something so confusing. It’s not fresh or easy or even inviting. Why should committed Pogo players, who have been members for years have to fumble around looking for their favorite games? Not everyone is a fan of facebook. There is no stability in the world today so why make it worse. Bring back the old format, where you can see all games from the homepage.
What do I hate about this new Home Page format…EVERYTHING!! 1)Those “most recently played games” listed across the top are not MY most recently played (it lists two games I hate!! and NEVER play unless it’s for a badge). 2) I liked the Mini and info box where it was…too hard to see now. 3)The icon pics besides the games take up too much space; who need pics anyway.
4)In short, once again Pogo is “dumbing-down” the page; looks like something designed for elementary school children. This is supposed to be an adult site. Puleeeeeeze…can Pogo admit when it’s messed up and put it back the way it was. As it is now, it’s useless and irritating.
Why change what was working, easy to read, easily understood? This “new modern page ” is too spread out, confusing and just plain hard on the eyes.
The new home page is just awful. Why would you change the old one? Did someone complain? I think when 100% of the subscribers respond negatively to the new format, you should pay attention and return our original home page.
Been a Pogo member almost from day “1” and have noticed that “Pogo” is slowly requiring “gems”
to play games and increasing “gem count” to play along with membership dues. Tech support is
almost non-existant and now some ya-hoo has changed the front page to “crap”!! Won’t be renewing in the spring.
I do not just pay for the membership, like many, many others I own every album and mix and match badge that has been out. We your paying members make it possible for Pogo to exist. All we want to do, is relax and play games. We have not complained about the way things were, as far as the design of Pogo, so why wont you hear what we are saying? Get rid of this new homepage, and start to listen to your customers, while you still have them. I too do not like the new homepage.
