We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.
While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:
Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!
Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.
Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.
Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information
Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!
Pogo must have a Busybody department that dreams up ways to fix things that aren’t broken. Alternately, they invent tail wagging cute little doggies, Kitty cats and other junk that sane individuals can avoid.
Just flip the switch and put it all back to the way it was.
When you changed the Help I had to stop going, Now if I have a problem I just don’t play that game.
The news letter looks like a google search stopped reading it. You took the cute out of it.
But this is sincerely the worst Homepage I have ever seen.
The bigger problem is you don’t care if we like it or not. With all the complaints you haven’t fixed anything else and I am sure your saying Oh the club members will get used to it. But you are wrong. I like Pogo games but I really don’t like Pogo management or EA. I have been coming here less and less. Who ever your designers are they apparantly are not qualified to do there job. It shows and you are irritating people.
Now do the smart thing and put the page back the way it was. Go back to the drawing board and try again and keep in mind you want to make it better not worse.

After reading everyone else’s comments I’ll add my support. This new Homepage sucks, I want all of my money back. I’m a Charter subscriber, that goes back to 1993, let’s see, $39 for over 10 years times three accounts, so yeah, where do I get my refund? Has anyone posted their review on YELP yet?

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS “NEW HOME PAGE”. RIGHT NOW I AM SO GLAD THAT I LET MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE. WAS THINKING ABOUT RENEWING IN DECEMBER BUT NOT NOW NOT EVEN ON THE MONTHLY BASIS. I agree with everyone on this page…this is to BUSY and hard to look at…give us back our old format…giving us the play box on our favorites section takes up too much space…why change something that already worked?

I don’t care for the new look but, Pogo doesn’t care what we think. You may ask our opinions but our opinions don’t matter. You (Pogo) are gonna do it anyway. So why ask! I like the old format and would prefer that one. If what we think really matters then why not let us decided if we want to use it and if we don’t let each individual use either the new or old one. WE are the PAYING customers. Let US decide!

Why? No seriously Pogo, Why? Why fix something that is not broken? It was perfectly fine the way it was before. It was easy to navigate and it was something that we ALL were used to. The old phrase, “you cant change horses mid race”, really comes into play with this situation. We the players are paying YOUR salaries, we are the ones that have to deal with your decisions, but at the end of the day You still get your money, and we get to suffer.
You have to change back to the old page, or im sorry, but you will see a huge drop in memberships.
I hope you didn’t pay someone to design the new home page. I’m sure any grade 3 or 4 computer class would have willingly taken on the assignment for a small donation to their school(and done a much better job). Please don’t tell me that some of my membership money was spent on this!! If I want to go to Facebook, I will go to Facebook. I come here to play the games, not spend a lot of time “hunting”
I believe your programmers:
a) do not know how to read regular sized print; or
b) do not know how to read without big, bright, children’s drawings!

I HATE IT. It’s almost as bad as POGO’s Customer Service. It’s cluttered and unorganized. I don’t even know where to start. Ugh.

Hmmmmm….Pogo, Have you noticed all the positive feedback? Of course not, because it’s just not there. Please listen to us. I agree with all these posts. The home page “SUCKS”.
HERES A TIP TO THE WEBSITE DESIGNERS (AND IT WONT COST YOU A DIME POGO). THINK BACK TO WHEN POGO WAS IN ITS PRIME AND GO WITH THAT…IT WORKED THEN AND IT WILL WORK NOW. PEOPLE DONT MIND PAYING FOR WHAT THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH. THIS NEW PAGE IS A HOT MESS!!
They take away the game jackpots. Tokens become worthless and you’re expected to buy “gems.” Constant glitches in the games it takes them months to fix. So much wrong you could have spent the time fixing but you spent it on revamping the main page instead? And it’s dreadful. Another stunning example of pogo and EA being completely out of touch with their customers.
I hate it as well. Guess I will cancel my membership when my subscription is up in March 2013. It’s a shame that everything has to be “updated” and “made better” when there’s nothing wrong with it in the first place!
Just like FaceBook . . . I hate the changes made there this past year. I’m almost 49 yrs old and I like things simple and uncomplicated. POGO better get what they can from me between now and March because I’m outta here if things don’t go back the way they were!

This new format STINKS! Almost enough to make me quit Pogo. It iv very confusing. Not as organized as they think it is. PLEASE PLEASE go back to the original format. That was so easy to navigate and this new one isn’t. You know the old saying….IF IT AIN’T BROKE, DON’T FIX IT! Nix on this format.

New layout>>>>HATE IT!!!!!!!!!! instead of worrying about how the site looks. Maybe you should focus your work on the games loading correctly.and have the game all in flash or all in java not this mix media crap.
EDIT: its great to see our balances of tokens and gems 2x[NOT,waste of space]. once at the top of the page and again under our mini. pogo is just getting worse and worse and i will not be renewing. games crash or wont load more frequently and now this dumb layout.what next.Start charging for a pay per session play. geezzzzzzzzzzzzz
It looks cheap, not classy like it used to. It is also way to bright. Now I will need to adjust my monitor as well as switching browsers depending what game I am trying to load.

I agree. Changing things for the sake of change is rarely an improvement. There must be a room full of employess at Pogo needing to justify their jobs. This new page is CRAP. Leave well enough alone Pogo. The changes over the poast 5 years have made this site less user-friendly and harder to navigate.

Also, could not play Amazing Adventures tonight. Just bought “riddle me” and could not play it. Please fix. Your Help page is very confusing too. Some thing is terribly wrong- please get your act together and give us what we are paying for. Hope you are reading all of these comments.
I have noticed that every change to the home page serves to enhance and promote articles that are sales pitches. When I signed up for pogo it boasted NO ads. Now I find every game I open I find ads for gems, badges, out of house games to purchase, pogo mini’s etc.

Another reason to consider not renewing my membership. The new game screens are annoying enough, now they bring it to the home page. The WHITE is annoying, the large format is overbearing. You had US in mind? I don’t think so.

The old homepage format was much more visually appealing. The new page looks very boring. What exactly was the point of changing it? I also liked having my favorite games listed on top with the alphabetical list on the bottom. Now I have to change tabs to choose. DISLIKE!

“SIGH”…this past year has been hell on here …cant get in games half the time cuz your servers are undersized…i have the latest “java” installed but on every second game i play i get the pop up to download the newest java…same for “internet explorer” and “flash player “…someone back there better wake up and not only smell the coffee but drink a few gallons…fix what “IS” broken and leave the few good things left on pogo alone

I am yet ANOTHER unhappy pogo player and HATE the new home page!!!!! Like everyone else has said, “why change it”??? How about fixing the games that cant be played, that would be smart thinking!! Bring back the old home page, which we all love and can zip around easily and find what we want……I DONT want to be seeing you pushing onto me that I can “buy more gems”, “buy more games”, “get more badges”, etc etc …………if I want them, I will buy them, I DONT need to see that staring at me when I open up MY homepage. Get with it pogo, and listen to ALL your of your players and do what WE WANT…and NOT what you “THINK” we want!!

It’s nOstY!! What do they think we are? Little kiddies? with the big words and icons? Do we really need those icons?? I can read, I don’t need picture to tell me what it is. I like the old format better, you can see everything there and not all over the place. I have to scroll down to look for my favorites. Why not leave well enough alone or maybe try fixing the games that we have problems loading instead of messing up our computers so you can test out your new product on.

The larger icons spread out over the center of the main page for your favorites uses so much space, and now we have to click to find all the other games? Everything used to be easy to see and use right on one page. Having to click around to find things seems counterproductive. I don’t like it, don’t like the stark white background, but then again, POGO doesn’t seem to value its lifelong members enough to fix the problems w/ all the games anyway so, why should they listen to us?
