Introducing the New Club Pogo Homepage!

We are excited to announce that Club Pogo has launched a brand-new homepage. Designed with you in mind, the new page is streamlined for ease of use, and modernized for a fresher look.

 

While the new design is straightforward and should be easy to navigate, we want to call out some of the highlights:

 

Most Recently Played Games Bar. Placed at the top, this bar allows you to add these games to your “My Favorites” list by simply clicking the little ‘heart’ icon in the upper left corner. Now you can quickly get to your favorites, and add new favorites to latest discoveries!

Bigger Spotlight and News Section! See top Pogo News stories as soon you as visit, and preview Spotlights using the icon bar, or just wait for them to scroll through on their own.

Member’s “My Stuff” on the Middle Left! Find your Mini, your token and gem counts, and other important account information.

Challenge Information on the Right! Find all your current activated challenges and recent badge information

Navigation Tabs! Choose between “Favorites”, “Categories” and “Games A-Z” We’ve added game icons to the “Favorites” tab so you can see the visual representation of those games you like best!

    I thought I paid for ad free fun.

  • I am not fond of the new format. Like the old format better. It is easier to navigate & find things.

  • HORRIBLE! Hard to follow! I thought I was at the wrong site! It’s very cheap looking, and not at all professional! PLEASE PLEASE change it back!

  • I have taught web design classes, this would receive an “F”, not user friendly at all! It isn’t just the fact that it has changed, but that it is not easy to find what you want and looks like it was done by a beginning class, too much space between items and things are randomly placed and not organized. I am hoping this is a beta version and you will listen to the input of loyal customers. Things don’t need to be exactly the same as the past, but any changes should be implemented slowly so you customers can gradually acclimate themselves to them and they should and make sense. Any changes should make a web site easier to use, not harder, there should be a sound reason for the change and they should NOT be made all at once.

  • Ok, here I go…Sorry Pogo that you have heard so much negative feedbck about YOUR new homepage, but it seems that the PAYING customers should have been given the finally say. Since WE the members pay to keep Pogo up and running, it seems only fair that we should have been given the option to compare this new homepage to our old one and give feedback on whether or not we would opt for or against it. If you truly read some on the criticism stated, you will see that the majority of people feel the new homepage is not only cluttered and busy, but confusing and search sensitive. I dislike the arrangement, lack of organization , style and game sequence. Plus why are our mini’s so much lower? Many are proud to have their mini, tokens, gems, etc….easily displayed at the top of our screens. It just doesn’t seem to work. Please put it back or try another layout……kepping my fingers crossed :-(

  • i keep trying to find the “x” to close the “Most Recently Played Games bar” OMGGGG get rid of it! it’s super annoying! if i like the game it’s on my favorites and if played a badge on it i can find it on the list… completely redundant and annoying and uselessss

  • I hate it too… This sucks! Change it back. I might as well go back to not paying to play. Its the same confusion of a homepage.

  • I am already having trouble with pogo. I am having issues with the java and now the home page. I have been playing for years. After this I wont be renewing my membership. I would like pogo to be put back to the way it was. Just leave it alone things went smooth without all of this confusion. Now games run slow or don’t run at all. I don’t need the headache.

  • apparently one must ‘allow the site’ via do not track plus in order to load the entire home page. i wont be doing that. privacy is paramount to me online and pogo should respect that privacy.

  • Who do you think you are,Facebook? You can’t make stupid changes like this and force them on PAYING members! Change it back to the old home page format,or at least give us PAYING members the option of using the new or old one…if it won’t be done,consider me not renewing my membership when it expires!

  • The width is completely inadequate. The daily challenges are pushed to the bottom of the page, and there’s no excuse for it. The redesign was completely amateurish. If this is not changed, I will not be renewing.

  • HATE THIS NEW PAGE… very ugly and totally comes off unuser friendly.. you don’t know where anything is… I thought I had actually signed into one of the help pages and kept trying to click the homepage button until I realized this was it… change it back… or very well I ma not be resubscribing as well!

  • Horrible!!! I agree with Mike, Fire the guy who made this home page without input from your current and loyal customers. This is one of the biggest mistakes made by Pogo, put our home page back!

  • Everything is right in front of you.Click on your favorts or click on the Categories and there you have it .as far as the mini goes ,I see everything Home page isn’t the problem its pogo the games giving trouble and if you all read the news dec 5 will be bigger changes on here with facebook.I don’t even have facebook.I wish pogo will just stay the way it is and stop changing things let it just be,

  • While there may be some valid complaints about the new home page. I am thrilled with the new speed. Can I be the only one that had a problem with waiting and waiting for screens to open up with the old layout?

  • okay constructive criticism after the initial shock:

    i do like the favorite tab and the games tabs because i thought my long list of favorites took up too much space but i don’t understand why everything on the favorite page is so gigantic. it should just be small so you don’t have to scroll through, just a short list. if we like the game we surely don’t need a picture of it next to the game, we clearly know what it is.

    i don’t understand why you would switch the badge side and the mini side and it’s completely annoying to me that i can’t see my mini when i open the page. i always liked that. i have a couple accounts and i could quickly glance and see which account i was logged into by my mini.

    and the white is soooooo drab. can you put the yellowish color back or something? white is not good on the eyes for late night pogo’ing. lol

    and that “recently played games bar” is completely driving me mad. it’s so redundant. you can get the game off your favorites if you like it or you can click the the badge you were previously working on and go to the game since that’s what we’re all used to. HATE HATE HATE this useless bar that is taking up space where more important things need to be.

    i like how the news is listed out on the side. and i do like the tabs. but please i want to see my mini and the badges back to the other side. with them on that side it was set up more like an email account would be set up and it’s so awkward to go to the other side. just a suggestion: you could list the daily challenges side by side where the useless “most recent” bar is and put my mini over there! lol

  • wtf why dont you invest in services that are not interrupted and try to feature more free games for members instead of trying to put your efforts in making us buy gems etc to buy badges that we already paid for the privalage of winning i didnt join pogo to be sucked into your investment with ea games and your profitable link to facebook etc. buy some servers to handle the links for your paid members to avoid the probs we members have wth our connectivity

  • When I first clicked on Pogo I thought I was on the UK site. This new version is very, very similar to their layout. I don’t like it at all.
    I have to agree with everyone else, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…..seems to me you’re trying to be more and more like Facebook, always changing things. I don’t say much about Facebook changes because it is free for me, but for Pogo, well……I pay for this privilege of getting more and more confused when I come here.
    Please listen to these posters.

  • Looks like I will be saving money when my account is ready to renew. I hate the homepage and would rather cancel my script. if I could get my money back. I have too much problems finding the daily challenge then when i activated it had a glitch trying to load the game…why waste my $$ on this CRAP!!!!!

  • Was anyone asking for a new homepage? By the comments on here looks like no. Leave things the same. I’am sure if it is not up to “OUR” standards your paying pogo customers will be the first to tell you guys!

  • I too hate this new version – very confusing and from a graphic standpoint horrible!! And what’s with ALL THE WHITE????? I need sun glasses to view that home screen. Seems like we’re paying for a service we’re not happy with and when you’re not happy with the service – you drop that service. You need to pay attention to your customer base more than you do because without US – there would BE NO POGO!

  • we thought we’d sit down with one of the key people behind the project, Rochelle E. Her role is “Usability Researcher”, which means she talks to our customers about how best to improve Pogo and Club Pogo.

    Over some hot drinks on a hot day we talked about some of these changes, why we made some of the decisions we did, and how customer feedback played a key role in the overall design.

  • I don’t like this new page. Listen to what the majority of us have posted and go back to the old page, there was not wrong with. I pay money yearly and this is what I get. Yuck.
