In Cookie Connect, your goal is to physically connect at least three identical cookies which are adjacent to each other on the game board. The more cookies you connect on a single move, the more points you’ll score. That’s important because you’ll only have a limited number of moves (turns) to complete each level.
Each time you connect a valid group of cookies, they are removed, you will score points, and any cookies that were above them will fall down the board and fill the empty spaces. If you’re able to connect larger groups of cookies, you’ll earn special power-ups which will add even more cookies to your collection and help boost your score to new heights. As you advance in the game, you’ll need to fill specific cookie orders, and those hungry customers won’t be satisfied until you give them exactly what they want. So beware: sometimes it won’t be good enough to simply connect just any group of cookies you happen to see!

Connect Adjacent Cookies of the Same Type
For two cookies to be considered adjacent, they must be sitting next to each other on the board either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Remember, they must also be of the same shape and color. To make a connection, click and hold on the first cookie in the group, then drag the cursor to the next valid adjacent cookie, then the next, and so on until the entire group has been selected. When you release the cursor, you will score the points for that group. Pay particular attention to diagonal scoring possibilities; sometimes they don’t appear as obvious as the more conventional vertical and horizontal options.
Fill the Score Meter
The Score Meter is a vertical bar located on the left side of the screen. At three different points on the meter, there are three small lines with stars next to them. Each time you make a valid connection and score points, the Score Meter bar will rise. Naturally, more valuable connections will cause the bar to rise at a quicker rate. In order to clear the level, the bar must reach the level of the first star line and you must have filled all required specific cookie orders (see below).
Mind the Move Limit
Always keep in mind that you don’t have an unlimited number of moves (turns) to complete each level. This makes it important to get the most points you can from each connection you make. In other words, before settling for a simple three-cookie connection, take a few moments to scan the board to make sure you’re not missing out on a better scoring opportunity. Fortunately, the number of moves you have remaining is always prominently displayed at the top left corner of the screen.
Fill Orders by Matching Requested Cookies
On some levels, you will need to fill specific cookie orders from hungry animal customers. These special orders are critical, because you must fill them in order to complete the level – regardless of how many points you’ve accumulated on the Score Meter! These customers and the number and type of cookie they crave will appear at the top of the screen, above the game board. When you fill a special cookie order, the happy customer will simply disappear. NOTE: It’s sometimes necessary to “overfill” a special order; if the customer only needs one more cookie, you’ll need to give them at least three because three is the minimum number of cookies required to make a valid connection.
How to Create a Row Remover
If you make a single connection of seven, eight, or nine cookies, the final cookie in the group will be transformed into a Row Remover. The Row Remover retains its cookie type, and if it’s part of a future connection, it will cause its entire row of cookies (regardless of type) to be removed from the board and added to your score!
How to Create an Area Bomb
If you make a single connection of at least ten cookies, the final cookie in the group will be transformed into an Area Bomb. As with the Row Remover, the Area Bomb retains its cookie type. If the Area Bomb is part of a future connection, it will explode, causing all cookies adjacent to the last cookie in the connection to be removed from the board and added to your score!
Power-Ups
Cookie Connect features an array of available power-ups which can help you get past that pesky level and boost your scores to new heights:
- Rolling Pin: Clears all cookies and blockers from the selected row.
- Color Bomb: Removes all cookies of the selected type.

- Spoon: Removes the selected cookie from the board.
- Whisk: Scrambles (randomizes) the location of all cookies on the board.
