Service Update: How to Get Your Accounts Ready for Pogo’s Sign-In Changes

As we mentioned in previous articles, Pogo is switching to the EA Network for sign-ins. Besides improving security, there will be slight changes to how you sign in to Pogo.

One other major change is that no two Pogo accounts can share the same email address. You might have seen a recent pop-up question, or noticed this screen on the My Accounts page:

If you only have one Pogo account, there is nothing for you to worry about and can get back to gaming. If you think you have more than one Pogo account registered to your email address, you can get a head start on getting your accounts ready by following these steps:

  1. Go to the “Forgot Your Screen Name” page.
  2. Enter your email address under the “Forgot your screen name?” section and press
  3. Check your email. You should receive an email with a list of your screen names and the last login dates
  4. If there is more than one screen name listed, sign in to the second one listed.
  5. Visit “My Account”and click on the “Personal Information” link on the left.
  6. Where it says “Email address,” press the edit button
  7. Enter a new email address and press save changes. If you need help creating additional email addresses, please visit the website for your current email provider (for example, gmail.com) and follow their detailed instructions on creating new accounts.
  8. Repeat steps 5-7 for each additional Pogo account you wish to update.

You might have a lot of accounts and not want to use some of them anymore. While we cannot delete accounts for you, you can focus on updating only those accounts you want to keep using.

Each of your accounts will still need to be updated to the new EA Network. Please see our main article for an overview of how that will work. Bottom line: it will be a quick and guided process that will happen when signing in to your accounts.

We know that a change like this can be daunting, and we’re here to help. We’ve already compiled a list of frequently asked questions that can be found herePogo Llama will also continue answering questions in upcoming Pogo Insider postings.

Once everything is all done, signing in will be just as quick and easy as before, but more secure than ever.

Thank you for your understanding,

-The Pogo Team
