Tell us a little bit about yourself : I am a 42 year old mother of a recently turned 21 year old daughter, I feel so old. She is and will always be my rock. No matter how old she is, she will ALWAYS be my little girl. I am dating a man whom I had met on a dating site of all places and I can say, without hesitation, that he is my soulmate. I collect Red Sox memorabilia, I even have a Red Sox bathroom! Another hobby of mine is web design. That is something I have been doing for the better part of 14 years. This is me in a nutshell.

Do you have a life philosophy? Andy Warhol said it best – “Sometimes people let the same problem make them miserable for years when they could just say, ‘So what.’ ‘My mother didn’t love me,’ So what. (Next line omitted because of content). ‘I’m a success but I’m still alone.’ So what. I don’t know how I made it through all the years before I learned how to do that trick. It took a long time for me to learn it, but once you do, you never forget.”
What is your favorite Pogo.com game? I have a few actually. Word Search Daily, Monopoly Slots, Hog Heaven Slots and Slingo Ricochet.
What’s your favorite TV show? I have a few. Quite a few in fact. The Walking Dead is the BEST series on tv, bottom line!! Suits, SOA, Longmire, Satisfaction, Parenthood, CSI, Criminal Minds, SVU and Big Bang Theory.
What’s your favorite drink? I am a HUGE diet Dew drinker. I drink it like water.
What’s your favorite season? I have 2, fall and winter. I live in Maine, ‘nough said, lol.
Apart from Pogo, what are your hobbies? Working on my website and collecting anything Red Sox.
What’s the last good book you read? In all honesty it is a book about the Red Sox, lol. It’s titled 100 Things Red Sox Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die.
Who’s your hero or heroine and why? I have 2, my mom and my dad. I picked them, not to be unoriginal, but because without them to keep me on the path I took in life, I would not be the person I have grown to become today.
If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do? I would absolutely go to Disney World, lol.
If you could gently remove any celebrity from the spotlight, who would it be? Hands down, Justin Bieber.
Do you have a clean joke you can share with us? What do you get from a pampered cow? Spoiled milk!
How long have you been playing Pogo? 4+ years. I still consider myself a newbie, lol.
What makes you a unique Pogo fan? I really don’t consider myself unique, I’m just me!

Hello Laurie. Congrats on being in the Spotlight! You seem like a cool lady with a good head on her shoulders. I too have a 21 year old daughter and they sure are good at making us feel old. Luckily I have a houseful of younger kids to keep me from planting myself in the rocking chair just yet. ;)
