Like most stroke survivors, I don’t take little stuff like walking, talking, or eating for granted. Raising my five kids was my pride and passion before my stroke. Every moment I have with them now is time I cherish.
Pogo provides a great escape for many great people who can’t get out much, be they caregivers, stay at home parents, people suffering themselves, or people too tired after workday to get out. I am thankful for Pogo.

How long have you been playing Pogo? 6 years this April. My son wanted to play Monopoly online.
What makes you a unique Pogo fan? A random Pogo encounter twenty months ago has blossomed into the greatest love I could have ever imagined. What makes me stand out is Jessica loves me.
I can usually be found on Pogo.com playing: In 50’s No Auction, Dice City Roller, Shack. 20 hrs a day minus nap, running a tournament group called Just Dice.

If you could remove any emotion from mankind, which one would you choose? Jealousy. If people would spend energy building themselves up instead of cutting others down there’d be no need for jealousy.

Your story was very inspirational and I really enjoyed it. My prayers are with you and your family. I too know that Pogo is sometimes a life saver. I am a caregiver to my husband who also had a stroke and is unable to do a lot of things he use to do, but I thank everyday that I have him with me and he is my inspiration everyday. Jessica was brought to you by God because every human being has worth no matter what.

What a great story, Chris. I am so glad that you found Pogo and look forward to seeing you one day in Dice City Roller. It is really heartwarming that you found Jessica on Pogo. My hubby and I have been married for 46 years this December, and I FINALLY got him to start playing Pogo just 2 months ago! Some are slower than others! I pray that the rest of your life is as happy as ours.

I am also a victim of the nasty stroke our daughter said “Why are giving up on life, you have never up on anything before” (please forgive my spelling)You will get over this too. She was a member of POGO and got me playing 7 years ago. With POGO my hands are a lot better. the best game for me is Canasta. Good luck to all of the people that has a stroke.

I am also a victim of stroke know what you are going thought also have heart trouble just this march had another stroke and it got one of my eyes now can only see a little out other one but i am still going don’t let nothing get you down you have a lot to live for god is got you here for a special reson
