I am a disabled, stay at home Mom. I love to play on Pogo, watch movies, listen to music and spend time with my family. I love working in my flower garden and growing tomatoes on my patio. I also enjoy cooking. I learned from my Grandma and my Mom and I’m pretty sure that’s how I snagged my hubby. Seeing the looks on people’s faces as they are enjoying the meals that I’ve cooked, brings a lot of joy to me. I have 5 nieces and nephews that I spend a great deal of time with, my youngest nephew I actually help raise, so he is a huge part of my life. Overall, I am a fun loving gal who likes to laugh, loves to smile and likes to have a good time. Being disabled, I have my good days and my bad days, but nothing is forever and I am making the most of the life that I have, my boys definitely help make this life much better.

What did you have for breakfast this morning? Steel Cut Oats with blueberries, toast, coffee and juice
Do you have a life philosophy? I like to live in the present. I live with the reality that life is very short so make the most of it while you can. I also believe that it takes a lot less energy to be nice to someone than it does to be nasty, so why not just be nice to everybody.

Apart from Pogo, what are your hobbies? Watching movies, listening to music, gardening, crocheting, playing with my boys

Who’s your hero or heroine and why? My Grandmother. She was the best, the greatest person I’ve ever known. She passed away a few years ago after battling diabetes for years. After losing one of her legs, she bounced back and was such a strong person. She never let it get her down, never stopped going. Whenever I feel down or feel like I can’t go on, I think back to how strong she was and how she never quit fighting.
If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do? I would take a nap!!! With kids I am always missing out on sleep. I would just nap all day long!
If you could gently remove any celebrity from the spotlight, who would it be? Kim Kardashian
Do you have a clean joke you can share with us? Q: What did the duck say when he bought lipstick? A: “Put it on my bill.”
How long have you been playing Pogo? Off and on for 10 years
What makes you a unique Pogo fan? I just love the games. I always try to strike up conversations with other players in rooms and always try to help out when someone has a question about a badge.

If you could remove any emotion from mankind, which one would you choose? It would be sadness. I would make it so nobody ever had to be sad, nobody would ever have to experience loss and be sad about it. I want everybody to be joyful and be happy!

It is a God given talent you have. A sweet personality,and to touch many lives who are unable to be the person they want to be. I am also disabled.. I keep on fighting this setback. I know many of us have a disability, but my disability does not have me. Everyday is not good, but there is something good about every day. A wonderful uplifting message you have given. Hi, Danielle. You sure have it going on. My mother is also deceased from cancer. She managed it for several years before meeting the Lord with grace and dignity. If I could do so as well when I die, she would be happy. Don’t let you disability get you down. Face every day with a loving heart and with all the grace you can muster.
