Married to a wonderful man for almost 10 years now. We have two great kids together. A son who is 8, and a daughter who is 5. My mother moved in with us since my dad passed in 2011. It was hard for her after his passing and I figured it was time I gave back to her and make sure she has what she needs like she did for me growing up. I don’t work right now due to health issues so pogo really helps me make new friends. I have met a lot of great friends on Pogo, a few very best friends and I am so grateful to have them in my life.

Who’s your hero or heroine and why?
My husband is my hero, he is always looking at the positive side of things, doesn’t let things get to him. He makes sure that our kids and I are ok before himself. When things were really tough for the both of us and I was very down he helped pick me back up. He is a great man!!!
If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do? Sneak into Disneyland lol, big Disney fan!
If you could gently remove any celebrity from the spotlight, who would it be? There are a few but I can’t stand Kim Kardashian.

Hello fellow Virgo. Loved your Spotlight, best one I’ve read yet and sound like my kind of person. I’m sorry about your loss, I feel your pain. I lost both mine within a year and a half of each other and one on my birthday! My husband is my best friend too, don’t know what I would do without him. For the last 19 years he’s been overseas as a government contractor supporting the troops in Bosnia, Djibouti, Iraq, Afghanistan and now Qatar. I too “dieted” and lost a lot of weight without actually following a diet or any other weight loss methods. I simply eliminated all the bad stuff I was eating and ate smaller portions. Another enemy is wheat gluten. If you can rid that out of your diet completely the weight will fall off easily and you’ll feel so much better. Hope to run into you in Pogo sometime. Hi there Cristina ! You are blessed to have such a kind and giving husband ! I am lucky that way too! The fact that you have given your mother a home in your home tells me that he’s blessed also ! Your mother did a fine job raising her daughter . I am trying the 20/20 diet by Dr. . Phil . Only 4 days so far but lost 3 big pounds !! lol we will see! So sorry about your dad passing. Hold onto the good memories and he will always be there in your heart ! Congrats on being picked as player in spotlight . Take care of your self too !!!

Your comment about taking care of you mom like she did for you is something I can really relate to. I had the honor of taking care of my Mom until she passed away. She was always there for me and I wanted to be there for her too.
