Patch Notes – 6/2

Hello Pogoians!

Welcome to the Patch Notes Blog! Here is where you will find the latest fixes on Pogo.

General issues:

  • Resolved In-Game Bundle assets are being stretched
  • Resolved when players hover On color for Challenge & Community drop-down is incorrect color
  • Resolved Unwanted scroll bar that appears while switching from Pogi Constellation to Constellation Info tab in 960px and lower breakpoints

Yahtzee! Wild improvements:

  • Updated Wild Dice interaction making it easier to understand which dice you are replacing with a Wild one
  • After purchasing a Wild Die, you can immediately use the Wild Die.
  • Currency changed from Z Coins to “Wild Coins” with updated imagery
    • Spend your Wild Coins to purchase Wild Dice
  • Added new background music and audio cues
    • Added dice sound effects when cup/dice shake
  • Updated the selected state of the score card making it easier to know what you’re selecting/not selecting.
  • Added a new Yahtzee celebratory moment when inputting a Yahtzee on your scorecard
    • Making Multiple Yahtzee should each be celebratory
  • Added new animations and feedback when making progress and completing the upper bonus
    • UPPER BONUS: If you score a total of 63 points in the upper card (Left column) you will gain an additional 35 points
  • Changed the cosmetic icon to not look like “Wild Dice”. This will reduce confusion from Wild Dice with the Cosmetic Unlocks at the end of game 
  • Updated end of game animations to add more celebratory flare
  • Updated How-To-Play to include imagery
  • Gifted Wild Dice notification at the top of the screen only appears now when a player has gifted you a dice
  • Updated presentation and position of the turn timer
  • Improved Leaderboard visibility
  • Fixed an issue that was not allowing large straights not to be calculated unless dice were in numerical order
  • Overall improvements to scoring using Wild Dice

Known Issues we’re looking to resolve

  1. Working on improvements with matchmaking
  2. Improvements on rules presentation around second Yahtzee in a single game
  3. Wild Dice counts as ‘0’ for Chance

Cookie Connect issues:

  • We’re aware that players are experiencing freezing issues.

We’re working with our partners to resolve known issues.
