In our continuous effort to provide a safer and more engaging community experience, we are excited to introduce several key improvements to the visual design of Inbox messaging on Pogo. These changes make it easier to distinguish between official messages from Pogo and messages from other players.
No changes are being made to the functionality of inbox messaging – you can continue to message friends on Pogo like normal.
Here’s a detailed look at the new changes:
New Design for Official Messages from Pogo
- Official Icon and Badge: Verified messages from Pogo will display an ‘official’ icon and badge.
- Bolded Outline Color: Official messages will also have a bolded outline color around the sender icon.
- New Tooltip: Official Pogo messages will now display a tooltip that identifies the sender as verified.
Tweaks to Player-to-Player Messages
- More Visible Ban/Report Functions: We have made the ban and report functions more prominent within player-to-player messages. When hovering over the new icon, you will see a dropdown with “Report Message” and “Block User.”
- Tooltip: Player-to-player messages will now display a tooltip that identifies the sender as from another player (not an official Pogo message).
As a reminder, do not call phone numbers or visit website links from unknown senders. Report unwanted messages that you believe are fraudulent.
