Welcome to the Construction Zone! Here is where you will find the latest on game updates. What is currently “under construction” on Pogo? As often as I can, I’ll sit down with the Pogo team and get the latest info on which games are being worked on and what’s coming. I will always post more details when I have them available. Please understand updates are subject to change.

Please understand that unless an announcement comes directly from EA and/or Pogo, we cannot endorse it as true. All games and updates reported here in the Construction Zone have been given the “go ahead” and are on track to come out. Anything else that is reported is speculation right now.

Every week I answer a non-technical question related to Pogo. We get lots of questions every week, so I try to focus on common themes or the same question coming from different folks. Please ask your non-technical related question in the comments section of the blog.

(For technical issues, please go to Pogo’s Help Page.)

I know you have questions about Early Access. I wanted to answer a few of them below in this week’s Pogo Insider!

Q. Will my favorite Flash or Java game be a part of Early Access?
A. It’s always possible! We keep an eye on any requests, and if demand is high enough, we’ll certainly investigate updating the game. Please note updating games takes time, and we have many games already in the works.

Q. Will Chat be a part of Early Access?
A. Yes! Chat is currently in development and will be a part of Pogo Early Access in the near future.

Q. Will Minis be a part of Early Access?
A. Yes! Minis will be a part of Early Access. Minis are still fully available on the classic site and now you can use your Pogo Mini as your Avatar on Early Access! Click here for a guide on setting up your Mini as your Avatar.

Q. Will tokens be a part of Early Access?
A. Collecting tokens will not be a part of Early Access. However, the number of tokens you’ve earned during your time at Pogo will still be visible on Early Access. Click on the new Classic Library tab to see how many tokens you’ve racked up over the years!

Q. What are Pogis?
A. Pogis are part of a new rewards system that will arrive here on Pogo March 12! There have been a few informational blog articles about Pogis that go into more details. Click here for the latest article on Pogis.

Q. How will I know what’s on the way?
A. Please continue to visit the Pogo Insider Blog for all updates as they become available.

I know you all have some great questions on Early Access and I’m happy to help! Please visit the Early Access FAQ for answers to some of the most common questions.

Thanks again for reading the Pogo Insider! Remember, you have what it takes to win those Pogo Badges and you matter!

  • I wait expectantly to see all the new developments and am thrilled as each one is presented to our community. Yes, a tear falls as each of my old flash games goes to Hog Heaven, but I welcome with open arms the new and updated games. Keep up the awesome work you do in developing games for us and making Pogo the best game site on the web. Love you Llama and the whole Pogo team. XXXXXXXX

  • LOVING MY POGO !!!!! MY TIME PLACE !!! THANKS FOR LISTENING TO OUR REQUESTS !!! LOVING THE ENJOYMENT!!

  • Most of your early access games are horrible !!!!

  • I have many times saw that there were 40 or sometimes 400+ comments but i cannot read them, what is going on? Yes Pogo is going through the change process & many do not understand they want it to be forever the old Pogo. Many do not understand that you have no control over Java and Flash. Listen up people Java & Flash is going out the door to never return. Progress people Computer technology is ever changing. Think back most of us still used a house phone to call our friends and relatives. Now we all use a cell phone or i phone. I didn’t even think i would give up the house phone but now all i have to contact individuals is my cell. Think back it wasn’t that far back for many of us that we used cash or check when shopping and now we use our *debit* card. Progress and change is here and it happens every day we just don’t notice it unless it effects us directly.
Keep up the good work Pogo Llama Have a nice day

    • I do love and appreciate your comments so much! They are an excellent source of feedback and I love interacting with you all through these comments. However, I do receive hundreds (yes, hundreds) of comments and I do like to take my time and read each one.
This means that blog comments do take some time to be approved, however, as it takes a lot of time for me to read through the comments that I receive.

Please have patience and understand that I will get to the blog comments each week, though not always on the same day that the blog is published as I need to take time to go through all of them, on top of my other work tasks.

Also of note: I moderate blog comments just as all other blogs moderate comments, from major publications like national news outlets – and Pogo is no different. Moderating comments allows for a safe space where people can share their thoughts without threat of repercussion. Additionally, moderation also ensures content published is of high quality and is helpful in nature. From there, I strive to do my absolute best to represent a balanced perspective (both positive and negative). Repetitive comments (meaning multiple players are posting the same comment), or unhelpful commentary (meaning it’s not actionable and no good can come from it), are not publicly shared. Again, I do read each and every comment that we receive as I go through to moderate them.
Thank you again for all of your feedback. It’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear from you, and I really look forward to reading your comments on the blog each and every week.

  • I’m not sure if this is the place to post this but here it goes.

I am stuck in Jet Set Solitaire and Cookie Connect. In Jet Set, I can’t seem to get out Mountains & sea to move forward 19/21 in last of the 3 locations inside this world tour. (I read that every game can be won without the use of power ups but I have yet to see how in Jet Set and Cookie Connect). Is there any way you could make it so we can enter the other worlds? There are 19 World Tours that I can’t get to because I have been unable to get out of the current one. In Cookie Connect I’m at level 495 but have been unable to move forward because I can’t win the level it seems without power ups (so please how can I move forward without power ups)?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Tleel

    • Hello tleel,
Have you tried asking on the Jet Set and Cookie Connect section of the Pogo forums? The players over there can be very helpful in the respective game forums. Please give it a try and thank you so much for being a part of Pogo!

  • Dont like the way new pogo is getting too expensive like the games like they used to be this new slot game dont like it at ll not much fun anymore

  • IS POGO OR EA GOING TO START GETTING NEW MINI ITEMS

    • Hi PlNKPANTHER4001,
Thank you for your request for more Mini items. There are no current plans to design new Mini items at this time. Thank you.

  • Thank you for extending some of the flash games! But what happened to the MnM badges that were on sale for these games? They have disappeared from Badge Central. Was hoping to buy some of them. Any chance you could bring the badges back? Thanks again.

  • I MISS NOT HAVING THE SPACE TO TYPE GAME IN YOU WANT TO PLAY,IF THERE IS A FASTER WAY TO GO TO A GAME YOU WANT TO PLAY PLEASE LET ME KNOW

  • Why not Solitaire Gardens? We have tons of Mahjong games and few solitaire. You’ve just removed one of the best. Why????

  • Is there any chance Pogo will be bring back LOTTSO any time soon? At least 2 dozen of us regulars really miss this game!

  • I just wondered if you ever concidered putting in a just chat space, I have been a member for 17 years and made pogo friends, since you closed our slot rooms with chat many are leaving. It may sound silly but many of us look forward to getting together to chat every day. Make it like the coffee shop room with different chat rooms. Charge a few gems a week if thats the problem . You could even make a night club chat space for friends to get together, been talking to lots of friends who miss the chat the most we will all still play games and do badges but our chat is very important . TYVM

  • what about the daily sweepstakes?

  • what happened to the daily sudoku? A beginner one was added that gives you no points to move forward in ranks and now the easy puzzle has taken me 9 minutes to do instead of the usual 3 minutes. Some games are getting harder and harder to do.

  • I know it takes a lot of time to remake the games into html and so I try to patiently wait, but it is so hard to do. I have so many favorites that are gone. Many of those were Java games. The ones I miss the MOST are Penguin Blocks, Qwerty, WordJong, Hangman Hijinks, Shuffle Bump, Dice Derby, Pop Fu and Quick Quack. They were wonderful unique games that provided pogo players with much more variety than we have now. I check the blog every time it comes out hoping I’ll see one of them listed as coming back in html. But every time I find myself losing hope for the return of these and most of the other Java games. If just once in a while one of these or the other java games were announced as coming, my hope would be renewed. I look forward to the return of Dice City Roller. Thanks for remaking it. Please know that I do appreciate so much all the work done to change over the games.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words and patience, Lindy4Love. I’ll do my best to keep you updated on any and all Flash and Java transfers. I know you’re waiting. :)

  • I do not understand the scoring on POGO Addiction Solitaire. After you successfully win a game, you are give a score. I do not see where that computes anywhere. And if you win a game, why wouldn’t you earn coffee cups? That always says 0. Could you please explain, or is this a mistake?

    • Hi CareAllB,

Thanks for your game question and I’m happy to help solve it.
I asked the Pogo Addiction Solitaire team and this was their response:

      1. The players get 2 points per Gold Card and 1 point per correctly placed Card. Players can check their points breakup at the end of the game by hovering over the small blue “?” sign.

      2. A player earns Coffee through the Mini-games (Find the Queen, High / Low, and Volcano.) The player has a chance of a Mini-Game by placing Gold Cards.

I hope this helps you in your game. Thank you!

  • Well seems to me if you can leave our token balance where we can see it , why not add the tokens we are winning? Why are we playing and it telling us 3000 tokens for this and 1000 for daily and we are not getting them ? How hard is it to give us our tokens? we have worked hard for years for them! I have over 5000 badges , some I paid dearly for with your GEMS. and in all the years I have played POGO I never missed one weekly badge. People are proud of what they have worked for and earned on here. I am being nice and I am just asking why can’t we have the tokens we earned added to our balance ? Y’all are getting what Y’all want Why can’t we have something we want too ? Fair is Fair

  • I am very happy with the new slots. When I first started playing on Pogo in 2000 it was the Casino games that drew me in. So I am glad to see these type of games.! I like the new look of the front page of Classic Pogo. Is it a possibility that we might get to keep that interface. I think it is the easiest way to find all of what makes Pogo from News to badges to each game. :) I am feeling very hopeful about the new Pogo and I truly appreciate all that you and everyone is doing making this transition. Having a son in computers I do have an understanding of what an enormous undertaking this is. I am wondering if Pogo realizes how much this site is loved ? lol Thanks again

  • I’m glad you haven’t responded to my comment. I got my 400 coins in the new POGO slots game. Thank you.

  • I’m glad Pogo decided to make certain Flash games available to us “for longer” and that Pogo “will sunset these games towards the latter part of the year.” Thank you!

However, in doing so Pogo has created a great deal of uncertainty as to how long these games will be available. Apparently, any or all of them could be shut down any day, even tomorrow, as that is towards the latter part of the year.

Can you find out for us when Pogo plans to sunset these games?

And may I ask politely that you do not answer with your standard “I don’t have any information on that”? Please note, my question is not “Does Pogo Llama have info on this?” If you don’t have this information, would it be possible to get it and share with us? Thank you in advance.

    • PrettyGoodWoman2,

Hello there! I will most definitely keep you all posted when I know when the remaining Flash games will be retiring on Pogo. I have asked the team and we do not have information on it. I know that is not what you requested, but it is what I know right now. But….I’ll let you know when we know. Thank you for understanding.

      • Thank you for asking the team. I’d like you to know that I appreciate your efforts.

Now for my next question… On the Pogi Constellation page, below “Complete your constellation,” it says “Meet Pogisus, your new friend helping you complete Constellations!”

I’m excited about Pogisus and how s/he will help! Will Pogisus throw in a few Pogis from time to time? Will Pogisus take over for a few minutes when I’ve been playing a game for too long and it’s beginning to drag? Or will Pogisus advance an extra tier on occasion?

Can you find out for us exactly how Pogisus will help us complete Constellations?

        • Hello!
Yes, Pogisus is quite the character. He’s there for guidance and for help but I’m not too sure if he’s keen on giving away Pogis from time to time. ;)

You make some pretty fun sounding suggestions, though! Thank you and hope you’re enjoying Pogis.

  • Hi Pogo Llama,

It’s been awhile since I wrote in your blog. I did win an ipad and happy to report Pogo runs well on it. I see some good games that are in the works to come back in HD. I am hope to see some of the older Java games soon too come back in HD too. There are so many good games and I hope they don’t get overlooked. I am going to list some at the bottom and hope to read soon some of them coming back.

I am glad to see the mini’s are still available. For myself I like having something that is more me. There are some cute avatar’s and I will use those at times too. It’s nice to have the option’s and thanks to Pogo for letting us pick what to use in our profiles.

I am still getting used to Early Access and finding everything. I only find the game icons rather large.I also wanted to say thanks to Pogo for working hard on keeping thing’s we love about Pogo while adding in the new feature’s also. I know it’s a lot of hard work and thanks Pogo Llama for all you do also.

Games I hope are considered for HD. These are my favorites and I really miss them.
    Spooky Slots
    Panda Pai Gow Poker
    Kenopop
    Wonderland Memories
    Balloon Bounce
    Harvest Mania
    Penguin Blocks
    Super Dominoes
    Perfect Pair solitaire
    Blackjack Carnival
    Stellar Sweeper
    Quick Quack
    Golf Solitaire
    Lost Temple Poker
    Casino Island Blackjack
    Dice Derby
    Squelchies
    Jigsaw Detective
    Vaults of Atlantis

    • Hello Brewncorn36!

Congrats on winning an iPad. That’s a great gift! I’m glad to know HD is working on it.
Than you for your list of game requests. And thank you for being a part of this community. Have a wonderful day!

  • Are our mini’s going to be full size like they are now so we can show our pets and accessories or are they just going to be head and shoulders, otherwise whats the point of our wardrobe, please keep full size, we all have them … they are already there thankyou in advance steph …

  • GE I like the current marathon but not the winter quest one. 50 bats, really?! I don’t like
long HOG marathons or badges. Too much eye strain and it gives headaches. I like the new slots
and am glad bowling is still around. I don’t miss Solitaire Gardens too much now because I am
enjoying Snowbird Solitaire and the Blitz S. I don’t miss M. Escape, hated those timed levels.
I am way behind on Quinn also because a lot of those are just too computer brain locked up.
    M. Sanctuary is a challenge but not as frustrating as Quinn.

  • Chat–“sometime in the near future”. Without chat I cannot play the games. I want to choose who I chat with.

  • This is not a reply but a comment on the new format. There is nothing about it that I like. The classic format is so much easier to navigate, find the games you want to play and look at potential new games to play. I find that I try to exit the new format as quickly as I can and move to the classic format. Please, please, please don’t take the classic format away from us. I have friends that feel much the same as I do and if we lose the classic format we aren’t sure we will remain Pogo members. I know that the program personnel are trying to make pogo games compatible with the new formats and it must be a real challenge. However, most of us miss the opportunity to chat during games and visit pogo friends. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with people all over the world thanks to pogo. If you could bring back chat it would sure be great. Thanks for taking the time to read this. CRAZSGT

  • On early access on the games that I have played why is there a pop up screen that says are you sure you want to quit? Your current progress will be lost.

And in sweet tooth town I can only play certain levels over and over because the game had a remove button from the start but we need that level to continue/advance in the game.

  • Can anyone tell me if there is a way to chat in new pogo?? – If so, how???

    • Hello HeyNana6,

Chat is not currently available on Early Access but it is currently in development! Please read here for more information. Thank you!

  • So depressed that Mahjong Escape is completely gone. It was always a very popular game with many people playing it at any given time. Please convert it to HTML5 so that it can make a comeback. It was a challenging game that also taught history — I liked that as an older person but it is really an important thing for younger people.

  • Welp – I’m out. The “classic” mode is ugly AND gives no access to Boggle rooms (as promised.) It’s been a good run. Guessing a ton of folks will be exiting. Ta.

    • WICKSFAN,
It is my hope that you do not cancel your Pogo membership. You’re an appreciated part of the Pogo Community and it would be a heartfelt loss to us.
I appreciate your feedback on Early Access. Thanks again for reaching out.

  • Why are we not able to play Be jewel Twist when it was a challenge last week that still uses flash? Could not do my badge, very sad. But you have Sweet Tooth and it will let you play with flash? I don’t like the calls that are being made. We really don’t have much to say. I would like to do my favorite game be jewel and never see any on mahjong safari?. any more. These games are on classic pogo, and even on the other they won’t load?

  • So my b-day is later next month. Please bring a bowling a pool game to Early Access for my b-day. #Pogobdaywish

  • I am a big fan of Peggle Slot and hated to see it go. Is Peggle Blast going to be a slots game as well?

  • I CANT PLAY IN EARLY ACCESS ITS JUST A GRAY SCREEN GOING ACROSS LOOKS LIKE I WONT BE RENEW WHEN IT COMES TIME .

    • Hello,
I am so sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Unfortunately I’m unable to troubleshoot here on the blog. Please reach out to EA Help and they will be able to assist you. Thank you!

  • Please keep Pogo Bowl forever ! I have been playing with a long distance friend for 10 years and we used to love “Lottso ” but it left – we will be very saddened to lose Pogo Bowl !

  • The new Pogo site might be the cutest children’s game site I’ve ever seen. My little grandaughter will love it!

  • how long is a comment,or comments,kept on,,awaiting moderation?,or replied to?,

  • I REALLY wish for the badge screen after each round in a game would NOT pop up- It is HIGHLY annoying and unnecessary…Thank you =) Oh and keep up the great work in getting things updated for us, y’all are doing awesome

  • Is there going to be a NEW Tournament?

    • Thank you for your question regarding Tournaments. Please keep an eye on the Pogo Insider and Blog page for all of the most up to date information on all things Pogo. Thank you!

  • Hiya Pogo_Llama! Just popping in to say Woo Hoo!! THANK YOU so much for finding a way to let us keep our Mini’s & closets full of backgrounds & goodies!! I can’t tell you how very HAPPY & JOYFUL that makes me!

Thank you for fixing the background/size in Quinn’s on Early Access! Made my day, heck it made my week, maybe even my month! It just makes such a difference every day when I play Quinn’s! Brings me much joy! 🤗

This transition is tough. We’ve lost some favorite games & features. But I know you & the Pogo Team are working very hard not only to upgrade/port over what you are able but also to bring to us the very best in new games & features. I do believe that you care very much about this Pogo Community & I am very happy to be a part of it. Thanks for being here for me. 😎

    • Ohhh.. I forgot to say how much I am enjoying the Journey & I am stopping to smell the Flowers as I Frolic down the path on my Quest for fun & badges!! I’m also loving the stars that are lighting up the night sky! 🌟⭐🌟

    • Thank you for your positive outlook and joyful comment. It’s always a pleasure and we’re happy to have you as part of the Pogo Community!

  • Hi Pogo Llama. I’m getting used to New Pogo, and I actually think I like the Pogis better than tokens! I like the goals to reach with them. I have only one request: I find my owned badges are confusing to find. The old album method is so much easier. If not that, how about putting all possible badges underneath each individual game in a similar format as in Old Pogo. Thanks for your consideration!

    • Hello Chickenfist13,
Thank you for your suggestion for Challenge Central and organizing Badges!

  • I have a few suggestions for changes to a couple of games. 1) In Jewel Academy, when you get to the part of the game where it asks you if you want to buy more moves, please add a confirmation if you say yes. I accidentally clicked on yes, more moves were added and I don’t have any idea how much those extra moves cost me. 2) In grub crawl scene 2 (not the bonus round where you find the differences), please correct the location of the salt shaker which the knife is pointing towards and not make us click on what appears to be a tea infuser as the salt shaker. Thank you!

    • Hello sissyannr,
Thank you for your game change suggestions for Jewel Academy and Grub Crawl! I appreciate you playing these games and being such a fan. :)
