Pogo Construction Zone – August 10h

Hello Pogoians!

How’s everyone’s week going?! Hopefully wonderful! Before we go into the Construction Zone I’d like to cover something that has been mentioned quite a few times in the forums and on social media.

• Chat in Canasta/Jungle Gin.

We’ve noticed many people ask about chat in Canasta and Jungle Gin, and we wanted to address that!

We recently updated chat in those games to make it easier to chat.

If you go to the bottom right, you’ll see the chat button:

Once you click on the chat button, the Pogo chat box will appear.

There you will see Private Chat, Game Chat, and Table Chat as an option:

Once you click on the Table Chat, you’ll be able to chat with the player you’re playing against.

*As a reminder, both players need the table chat open for this to work so you can converse with the other player!

We hope this addresses everyone’s concern about chat within Canasta and Jungle Gin, Spades, Pogo Bowl, Scrabble, and Dice City Roller! In addition to this, we will be looking into the chat filter here soon and hoping to have a resolution shortly.

Welcome to the Construction Zone! Here is where you will find the latest on game updates. What is currently “under construction” on Pogo? As often as I can, I’ll sit down with the Pogo team and get the latest info on which games are being worked on and what’s coming. I will always post more details when I have them available. Please understand updates are subject to change.

Please understand that unless an announcement comes directly from EA and/or Pogo, we cannot endorse it as true. All games and updates reported here in the Construction Zone have been given the “go ahead” and are on track to come out. Anything else that is reported is speculation right now.

• GOTM for August is Mahjong Sanctuary! 
  • Complete 4 challenges by the end of the month!
• Explore the Constellation of Partinex the Persistent ongoing now until 9/2!
• Jet Set Solitaire – “Summer Beach Blast” event begins from 7/27 to 8/26!
• Sea of Color Badge Collection on Challenge Central runs now through August 28th! 
  • The new Sea of Color collection brings 30 vibrant fish, slugs, jellyfish, and more to life and pairs each with a fun gaming Challenge!
• Join the Under the Sea Merit Badge Event to collect an animated Super Scout badge now through 8/22!
  • Complete 3 Free Challenges or 1 Premium Challenge each week to earn a Merit Badge. Collect both Merit Badges to unlock and earn the bonus Super Scout Badge.

Game Updates/Additions

• Some sweet developments are coming to Sweet Tooth Town on 8/9!
  • You’ll be able to build her shop in your own town starting on August 9. Speaking of town, we’re also doing some urban renewal! Keep an eye out because we’re sprucing things up with new trees and decor.
• Quinn’s Aquarium– Scamp’s Play Zone Part 1 is available on 8/10!
• Big updates coming to Bejeweled Stars on 8/17!
  • Explore the new Bearfrost Crossing Island, featuring 15 new levels!
