Hello Pogoians,

Oh Pogo, what a year 2017 has been. Let’s take a look back!

Pogo continues to grow with dignity and grace as it reached 18 years old! You know what, though? It’s all because of you, the players. The Pogoians. The entire Pogo community. Thanks to each and every single one of you who have ever played a Pogo game.  Thank you for playing, for supporting Pogo, and for giving us your feedback over the years. I love the Pogo community!

This last year could also be deemed the year of HTML 5 games. Here’s a list of the H5 games Pogo released within 2017. Which are your favorites?

Cookie Connect (and many extra levels!)
Phlinx II
StoryQuest
Poppit! Party
Poppit! Bingo 2.0
Pogo Sudoku
Aces Up!
Jewel Academy
Jet Set Solitaire

We went through an entire year of new ranks and badges for these Games of the Month selections! Did you rank out?

January – Sparks
February – Bejeweled 3
March – Bingo Luau
April – Jungle Gin
May – Canasta
June – Tri-Peaks Solitaire
July – Phlinx
August – First Class Solitaire
September – Poppit!
October – Sweet Tooth 2
November – Pogo Bowl
December – Solitaire Gardens

And here are a few other Pogo 2017 Milestones

Sneak Peek

One of my favorite parts of the Pogo Insider is the Sneak Peek section. I enjoy talking with the Pogo artists so much and I wanted to end the year of 2017 with a few Sketches by Pogo artist, Marshall. I asked him for his favorite 2017 Holiday badges and here they are!

Canasta

First Class Solitaire

Mahjong Escape

Poppit! Bingo

Poppit! Party

Word Whomp

I’d like to share with you one of my favorite parts of the Pogo Insider for 2017. It was our conversation via the blog comments on what the best name for Sushi Cat would be. (BB and Camilla were my favs). You can refresh your memory by reading this and this.

In the December 5th Pogo Insider, I held a poll asking for your favorite Pogo Insider features.
The Top three were:

  • Upcoming Game Announcements
  • Upcoming System Changes
  • Sneak PeekI cannot wait to include more of those features, and so much more, in the new year! Pogo has lots of surprises coming your way in 2018 that I can’t wait to tell you about.

Thank you for reading the Pogo Insider. Enjoy your day and happiest of holidays to you and all of your loved ones.

Before I go, I wanted to add this player-created song that was in the comments last week. Thank you to Pogoian, Chipawea9!

“My 12 Days of Pogo”

On my twelfth day at Pogo my pointer gave to me…
Twelve balloons a-popping
Eleven veggies growing
Ten friends a-chatting
Nine Squelchie’s laughing
Eight ducks a-quacking
Seven bees a-buzzing
Six gophers digging
FIVE JACKPOT SPINS
Four calling bingo’s
Three stealing penguins
Two cards in love
And a Badge Challenge just for me!

All the best,

Pogo Llama
